(AN- Hi! I want to add a trigger warning here for talk of unintended emotional abuse, abuse, victim-blaming, gaslighting, talks of physical abuse, mention of kidnapping, hitting, self destruction, mention of suicidal tendencies, mention of substance abuse,

Also! This is the basics of my thoughts on the 'Bakugou's mom abuses him' ideal. Please watch the video before hand.

PS. I do not think Mitsuki is a bad person. I think that her parenting is questionable and is a large cause in why Bakugou acts so narcissistic, yet is the exact opposite at the same time. I feel like she plays a big role in a large amount of his behavior unintentionally. I don't think that Mitsuki hates her son either.

I don't want arguments in the comments. They will be deleted. This is my book and this is how portray certain characters.)

If you asked Kirishima how he felt about the information that his best friend turned out to be the same kind of person as the people who bullied him everyday, but worse, he wouldn't know how to answer. And he doesn't - not really.

And in truth he really doesn't know how to feel. He had years of people picking on him for being weak, and calling him names and stealing his lunch money. And then he made it to UA. He proved all of them wrong. He even befriended the most hot-headed kid in class.

He'd felt such sympathy for Midoriya - and Shinsou so he's come to learn - when he'd found out about their past experiences being so similar. They had been ridiculed by society for something they could not control. For being 'weak' or 'villainous'.

Finding out that the person he'd been trying the befriend ever since he started UA was just like those who ridiculed other people for things they couldn't control, honestly broke him from the inside out. He didn't know what to think or how to feel about it anymore. He always thought that Bakugou was so manly! He wanted to be as strong and willed as him. When he walked into 1A that first day, and saw just how powerful he was... he was entranced.

When the sports festival came around, he finally made his move to become friends with him. He was so excited that one of the strongest people in class agreed to let him be apart of his team.

He had gotten closer to the loud pomeranian, and dared to say became his friend, not that Bakugou would ever admit it. He became friends with Ashido too! He had admired her a lot in middle school, especially after she stopped that villain.

He became friends with Sero and Kaminari too! He was happy for once! He had friends, and he was training to be a hero. He wasn't weak anymore. He had his provisional license.. Everything was going great, well, besides the league attacking them every so often.

When he and a few others went to save Bakugou, he felt that he had a newfound trust from Bakugou.

But now... now he can't even look him in the eye. Every time he looked at him, he got so angry.  He's sure Bakugou noticed, as whenever he did look at him, it was the strongest most hate-filled glare he could muster up from his emotions.

As he sat in a chair in the theatre, he stared at the screen as it counted down. Most everyone was in their seats now. Bakugou was too. Right next to Kirishima. Kirishima just kept his eyes on the screen. If Bakugou noticed, he didn't comment.

As Midoriya, his mom, and Bakugou's mom entered the room finally, the timer was almost up. As Midoriya passed him, Kirishima met his eyes. They were so kind, and Kirishima again wondered how Bakugou could hurt someone like Midoriya. Midoriya gave him a small smile and quickly glanced to Bakugou, then back to him. He went back to his seat, and Kirishima couldn't quite get the interaction out of his mind as the final second ticked down.
