Yet again the counter on the screen was reaching to zero. Midoriya had settled to watching it tick down instead of talking with his friends. Tsu, Uraraka, and Iida were sharing what they think they were reacting to next, with Todoroki chiming in with his thoughts as well every once and awhile. It was just background noise to the greenette.

Normally he would have joined them, but he was too busy thinking of his own theories. He made sure he wasn't mumbling every so often as to not make Kacchan angry... again.

His thumb tapped his chin aimlessly as he thought. So far everything had been random. One was straight horrific, and the other being more lighthearted. He thought maybe that the reason was to calm everyone down after seeing themselves like... that. It really creeped him out. Though it did raise more questions about their quirks. Especially his own. He had already been able to see the other users before, but to think they could possess him? It terrifyed the boy to no end.

Still, it made sense. He had been given a power that was connected to the soul, it made sense that it had a sort of memory to it. He remembered seeing a movie about that once. It was an American animated movie that Kaminari showed Todoroki about someone with powers similar to his ice side. Ironically it was made in the pre-quirk time. Midoriya was pretty sure it was the second movie, though.

One of the other characters was talking about how things have memory. It sounded ridiculous at the time, but now... now he wasn't so sure.

His thought process was cut off when the screen reached zero again. New words were put onto the screen.

Words that he wishes he wouldn't have to see.

"Midoriya Izuku: Origin."

He stared at the screen. 'No... no this can't be happening. Not now. I don't want them to see this!' He rubbed his eyes to make sure he was seeing it right.

When he opened his eyes again, the screen stayed the same. He felt heavy in his seat. His eyes wandered over to his former 'friend'. His head was down, hair covering his eyes, refusing to make eye contact. Midoriya looked back at the screen and sighed. He knew that he could do nothing to stop it. He knew this was going to happen. Why was he even surprised?

Dread filled him. He wondered just how much it was going to show. He expected the doctors appointment when he was five. He also knew that Kacchan would be there. Maybe some childhood memories as well?

He just hoped it wouldn't show middle school.

Wait. Would it show his secret? Would it show about how he got a quirk? If that happened that would be disastrous! Especially with villains in the room. If they knew, what if they tried to forcefully take One For All from him? Of course, it wouldn't work because he would have to be willing to give it to someone, but the thought of them trying... he didn't want them to. It would just be senseless torture. He didn't necessarily want that. It sounded-

"Deku, are you okay?" Uraraka said. He glanced up at her. During his thoughts, she had gotten up and walked over to him. She was waving a hand in front of his face trying to get his attention. He shook his head.

"Oh! Y-yeah I'm fine Uraraka! Thank you! I was just... thinking." He trailed off. He gave her a smile to reassure her. She didn't quite believe it, but went back to her seat anyways. Midoriya notices his hands slightly shaking, so he clasped them together to make it less noticable. He collected himself as he braced himself for the reaction.

The screen switched.

"The first part in this reaction will be Midoriya as a child, and the next will be him in middle school. After that we will move on to a different reaction. The rest of his origin will be reacted to later."
