(!) This is a nobody's POV (!)
(!) Swear Warning (!)
"Well, we found one, boys!" Jeremy exclaimed, shining his flashlight on the broken down and rotten rabbit suit.
"Hey!"
"And gals," Jeremy grumbled, glaring at his female co-worker.
"Well, are we gonna load him up?" Paul asks, rather impatient to get away from Fazbear's Fright.
"Yeah, yeah," Jeremy says. "We throw him on in three... Two... One!" Jeremy exclaims, lifting the rabbit costume up, and God, was it heavy.
"Alright, let's get him positioned." Jeremy says, pushing the large suit away.Springtrap had no idea where he was, nor did he want to. He kept his eyes firmly shut. He didn't know why, or where, they were bringing him, and he didn't want to know either.
Soon, he felt a cold tile ground beneath him as he was pushed into a sitting position, his legs stretched out in front of him.
"Can this thing even open its eyes?" A voice asks, and suddenly Springtrap's eyes were forced open, the stormy-gray hues blank and dull. He didn't move his eyes, but he could vaguely see a man, wearing a Freddy Fazbear's entertainment uniform with a name-tag that read "Jeremy."
Springtrap was mildly amused at himself for still being able to read after all these years.
"Man, Scott's gotta tell (Y/N) about this," Jeremy says, and Springtrap tensed up at the mention of (Y/N). Jeremy scurried off, holding a strange, rectangle device in his hands.
Springtrap didn't know why that name bothered him, but he brushed it off. He sighs inwardly, staring downwards.
Boy was this going to be a hell of a trip.
Springtrap slowly looked up, the various metals and gears in his neck popping and screeching silently. It felt good.
Am I still able to talk? Springtrap questions himself.
"H-H-Hee-eeeee-l-looo-o." He cringes at his voice, scratchy, glitchy, and half-way human. At least he could talk. He looked around, eyeing his surroundings.
It appeared to be he was in a storage room of the sorts, surrounded by boxes, parts, papers, and some drawings. He picked one up, narrowing his eyes.
"H-h-hmm-m," He hums, setting it down. He looks up to see a camera in the corner, though the small, LED light wasn't blinking, showing it was not currently in use.
Springtrap slowly and slightly shook his head, no longer interested in new technology. He sighed inwardly again. He then begins to flex his legs, stretching them out and pulling them in. He twitched his ears, then moved them up and down. Only his right ear could bend, the other being almost fully unmovable.
It appears I can still move my limbs, Springtrap thinks. But can I walk? He slowly lifts himself up, the metals in his body screeching in protest. He manages to stand, though a bit wobbly. He steadies himself with the wall, staring at his legs. He took a sharp inhale and stepped forward, his foot barely lifting up off the ground.
I can't walk, but I can shuffle. Good enough. Springtrap notes, going out into the hallway. There were soft glowing green LED lights hung around the place, some drawings on the walls, arrows pointing where to go, and a few items from the old location. Springtrap stood in front of a Foxy mask hung up on a wall, a lamp-like light shining from his eye. He scoffs.
"Y-y-y-you'-you've c-c-cl-clea-clearly s-seen be-be-better d-d-d-ays." Springtrap says, turning away and walking in a different direction. He lumbered into what appeared to be an old kitchen. There were old pizza signs on the walls and the appliances looked old and rusty. He walked out, uninterested.
Wasn't hungry, anyway. Springtrap jokes to himself, making a small, glitchy chuckle. Suddenly, one of the cameras make a high-pitched beep and a "whrrrrr" noise. Springtrap looks up at the camera, and it turns to where its fixated on him.
"What the-" (Y/N) breathes, staring at the thing in the camera. He didn't know what to think of the giant rabbit-thing staring at him, and frankly, (Y/N) was a bit freaked out.
(Y/N) suddenly remembers what Scott had said about maybe using the audio sounds, and (Y/N) suddenly smashes the audio button, a loud and eerie "Hello?" sounding.
Springtrap turns towards the sudden "Hello?" and he automatically walks towards it. Springtrap tries to turn away, but he seems very attracted towards where the sound came from. He soon reaches the room, and he makes a quick, full-room scan, looking for any signs of life. When he finds none, he makes a large sigh, a glare on his face.
"I-It worked," (Y/N) says, smiling. "Wow," He starts to look through the cameras again, suddenly landing on one with a creepy looking boy on it, charred to a crisp, its soulless pupils white.
(Y/N) drops the tablet and comes face-to-face with the boy. It suddenly shrieks, jumping at (Y/N). He screams again, falling over and out of his chair as the boy disappears.
Springtrap hears the scream, his ears perking up. He makes a run for the office, stopping at the doorway. (Y/N) was laying on the floor, curled up and hyperventilating.
"Y-y-y-you n-nee-need to r-r-res-reset the ven-ventiliat-ion." Springtrap says, shaking his head.
(Y/N) quickly gets up, fumbling with the maintenance panel for a moment.
A few annoying beeps later, the red lights stop flashing and (Y/N) begins to calm down, his breathing starting to slow. (Y/N) then looks up to thank whoever had told him to reset the ventilation when he saw Springtrap, leaned up against the doorway and staring at (Y/N).
"I- Who- Who are you?" (Y/N) yells, scooting backwards until his back hits the wall.
"S-Spr-ingt-t-trap." Springtrap replies, reciting his new name. (Y/N) nods.
"Are you going to..." (Y/N) gulps. "Hurt me?" Springtrap chuckles and shakes his head.
"If I-I-I was g-go-ing to, I-I wo-wouldv'e a-alrea-dy d-d-done so." He says, a small smile on his face. (Y/N) nods again, slowly getting up.
"O-k," He says, sitting back down, suspicion in his eyes.
"I-Its q-q-qui-te r-r-ude to n-n-not sa-y yo-your nam-e wh-wh-whe-n int-ro-d-ducing you-yourse-lf." Springtrap mentions, raising an eyebrow.
"I guess it is, well, I'm (Y/N)." (Y/N) says, looking a bit embarrassed, and really, who wouldn't in a situation where you're talking to an animatronic? Springtrap nods.
"Very nice name." He comments, still slightly smiling.
"Thanks," (Y/N) says, looking through the cameras.
"S-So, wh-wh-y wo-wo-rk he-here?" Springtrap asks, still in the doorway.
"I needed the money, and it's the closest to where I live." (Y/N) replies, sounding a bit embarrassed again. Springtrap only nods, his arms now crossed against his chest.
Suddenly, the alarm on (Y/N)'s phone goes off, a loud beeping. (Y/N) turns it off, getting up.
"Well, gotta go." (Y/N) says, smiling politely at Springtrap.
"O-Oh, w-w-well, g-goo-goodb-ye, (Y/N)." Springtrap says, his name leaving a tingle on his tongue.
"Bye, Springtrap." (Y/N) waves as he leaves, Springtrap watching.
"(Y/N,)" Springtrap says again, testing it out. It left yet another certain feeling inside of him. "H-Hm."
hello everyone
this is my first x Reader, and I'm am so bad at first person stories so I went with 3rd person
cries
I hope it isn't too weird, and I hope I got Springtrap's personality right. Also, sorry about there not being much interaction with the reader, I was wanting to get Springtrap's backstory down a bit.
This fanfiction is also not the type of fanfiction to be like "oh love at first sight blah blah blah" I want there to be interaction and friendship between you and Springtrap first, to make it seem more
I don't know
Mature?
Anyways, thank you so much for reading, and I love y'all!
<3
Also, I'll be working on chapter 2 right after I publish this one
I also wanna do a Q&A, with all of my characters including these and myself~ Springtrap
