𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢 𝙘𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙩?

practicing witchcraft in secret. This is a difficult situation if you are hiding your practice from people you are currently living with who would not accept you.

however, fear not! I am here to assist you.

i began my practice in secret and know how stressful this can be. it can put pressure on your psyche and make it difficult to even preform your practice in the first place.

so here are some tips and tricks to hide your craft.

{1.} your grimoire~

* this was very easy for me to hide, because I kept a journal since I was in elementary school.

* so simply purchase an aesthetically pleasing diary, and begin to work with it. {see grimoire chapter.}

* most magick can be performed inside a grimoire anyway- or simply on paper. {manifestation, sigil magick...}

{2.} magickal tools~

* this is a bit more complicated, but something I recommend is using jewelry as tools, blessing jewelry with intention for different purposes.

* {examples: earrings for beauty, necklace for protection...etc}

{3.} crystals~
* crystals have become so mainstream lately it is (most of the time) not necessary to hide them. if so, simply say something along the lines of you think they are pretty- or you are starting a rock collection... etc.

{4.} altars~

if you need a place to put your sacred items and work with them, but also something that is easy to hide-

commonly called "travel altars" or "secret altars"
they are basically the perfect place to keep items pertaining to your craft hidden, and on your person for convenience.

{5.} candles~

* if you wish to practice candle magick, simply burn scented or colored birthday candles

{6.} herbs~

* drink more tea- pure herbs can be found in teabags and are inexpensive as well.

* if you wish to dry herbs, simply say they are for decoration.

* pick up gardening.

* if you are a kitchen witch, or desire to practice kitchen magick- simply baking honey or milk cakes won't be suspicious at all.

{7.} magick in daily life~

* practice spells and ritual magick in the shower
* do sleep magick
* meditate
* practice yoga
* use crystals
* manifest
* listen to music that empowers you or magickal music
* read magickal books online (pdfs included)
