Veils. What are they? Why do some witches/practitioners choose to wear them?

Many witches wear Veils for protection from negative energies. Most of us absorb negative energies through our crown chakra (located at the forehead) so many { especially empathic } practitioners; wear blessed veils in order to keep them safe from negative energies.

This is often done by embroidering sigils into the material or charging it in the moonlight/washing it with moon water... etc.

Other witches may choose to veil as a sign of respect towards their deities. This falls more under the category of ritual clothing, which I choose not to wear personally..

This is also something many religious witches do for personal reasons.
