Max POV

I'm so sorry Max...

The Voice was back...

Jee, it's okay. I'm perfectly fine, Voice.

Its going to be okay. For now...

Max, just focus on what your seeing. Goodbye for now. I will let you have your space. Don't worry, I'll help you. Just concetrate on now. Not the future.

I thought back. I felt tears well up in my eyes. How could Fang cheat on me?! I felt a tear fall on my face.

I watched as Fang leaned in to a girl. She had short booty shorts on and a crop top. Fang placed his lips on hers and she started to suck on his lips. Nasty. She hiked a leg on his hip and he backed her up on a tree. Fang broke from the kiss and said something. That girl frowned but pecked him on the cheek and said something too. Fang nodded and turned around. He did a quick 360 and walked away. Perfectly fine. No remorse, guilt. Nada. I saw the girl and she was walking away. I secretly followed him until a clearing. He looked around then unfurled his wings and jumped into the air.

I watched him fly away. I wanted to scream! I hate you Fang, I thought. I sat there by a tree sobbing my heart out. The hot tears streamed down my face. 'Snap out of it' I thought. I made myself stop crying and sat there by the tree in the blazing heat of Arizona. Fortunately my eyes weren't puffy. I willed myself to get up and I stood up straight. Everything looked bleak. My heart was crushed. I rubbed my blurry eyes. I had been sitting by the tree for about an hour. I unfolded my wings and took off. The wind felt so good on my face.

It feels like flying washes away all of the emotions I have... Until I get down onto the ground. I spotted the house in the distance and set myself into hyper mode. I shot through the air like a blur. I went back to normal speed and landed by the house. I cursed then walked in. I pulled a smile on my face. My flock was in the living room all watching tv. Iggy was working on a bomb with Gazzy and Nudge was playing with her magnetic skills. I kicked off my shoes and started to turn to my room hall.

"Hey Max," Fang said.

I said nothing. He looked over at me with concern on his face. He was lounging on the couch.

"Hi," I replied with so much venom. I glared at him.

He flinched and literally scooted over to Angel. Angel stood up and sat on an armchair across the room from Fang. She glared at him as well.

'I'm sorry Max'

Why is Angel in my head?

'It's okay Angel'

'No it's not'

Angel sighed and I shot her a look that meant, 'Later'. She nodded and I stormed upstairs to my room. I sat on my bed at stared at the wall.

"That little bi-" I muttered.

I stripped and took a shower. I stayed in the shower for about twenty minutes. I got out still hating Fang and got dressed into a pair of black jeans and a green tank top. I slipped on a black jacket with a gold zipper. I sat on the bed and I just thought. I was too sad to do anything.

I remembered a while ago Fang said he would love me, and only me.

*Flashback*

I sat in the tree across the rest of the flock. They were all sleeping, except Fang. He flew over to my branch and said,

"I love you Max, and don't you forget it."

"Right back at you. Except, instead of my name, insert your name."

He smiled one of his rare smiles and I smiled back.

"We will be the best bird couple forever."

I laughed and said,

"Together we will destroy Itex."

"Together Forever Max."

*End of Flashback*

I sighed and laid down on my bed.

My door opened and I immediately knew it was Fang.

"Get out of my room."

"No," Fang calmly replied.

"No? You say NO?!" I spat at him.

He immediately knew he had said something wrong.

"You already made a huge mistake Fang."

"What did I do?"

"Oh so you try to play innocence? Oh I'm Fang, and I f**kin cheated on Max!" I yelled.

"What are you talking about?"

"You (insert word of choice)!" I screeched.

"Fang, I saw you F**KIN MAKING OUT WITH ANOTHER GIRL!!!!"

"Max, I," Fang started.

"What I'm not good enough for you? I'm too ugly? WHAT MADE YOU DO IT?!"

"You guys are both hot," Fang muttered. He immediately put his hand over his mouth.

"I didn't mean to say that!" Fang exclaimed.
