Alia's P.O.V
Today I spotted Lottie in the Library. I was with Mila while she was trying to find a book. Lottie was seated with a boy and a girl. Lottie waved to me and I went over to her table.
"Hey, guys this is Alia I met her a couple of days ago," Lottie said.
The boy looked up from his book and I held my breath. I saw the shock on his face and I knew he could see the resemblance too.
"So, this is the girl who's been stealing our Lottie away." The girl with short black hair cut in.
"Hi and yes I hope you don't mind that I've been borrowing her for that past couple of days," I said cooly. I needed to get close to Lottie's partizan and the best way was through his friends.
"Haha, jokes on you no one can steal Lottie from me. That's just a fact. My name's Ellie." This girl was cool.
The boy was still staring. He clearly wasn't taking this in too well. I hoped he would be happy when I told him. If I told him, maybe it would be better for him if he didn't know.
"What's your name?" I asked trying to get him to stop staring at me.
"Jamie," He said rudely.
He seemed kind of mean. I was expecting him to be nice and funny. But, maybe he was just on edge.
"Anyways, I've gotta go help my princess. See you later." I smiled.
That wasn't exactly like the dreams I had of meeting him but, Mother told me not to get my hopes up. I just needed to show him that I wasn't a threat. Then he would warm up to me and I would tell him and he'd be so happy. We would meet mom and he'd love us both. It would make up for the family that I missed for the first 15 years of my life.
