This morning, Ellie and Alia were waiting at their normal lunch table waiting for Lottie.

"Why are you guarding your glass of water so carefully?" Ellie asked.

Alia looked down at her glass which she was holding tightly.

"It's not water, it's a special serum. It turns people into 6 year olds." Alia responded.

Lottie sat down on the other side of the table with her tray making Alia and Ellie slightly jump.

"Hey are you guys okay?" Lottie asked.

"Yeah, you just scared us." Alia explained.

"Oh shoot, I forgot to get water." Lottie started to stand up.

"Wait, here." Ellie pushed the glass with the serum towards Lottie.

Before Alia could stop her, Lottie took a sip from the glass.

"Hey guys, what's up?" Jamie said as Alia and Ellie quickly turned their heads.

"Ummm, I'm not really sure how to answer that question." Ellie said biting her lip.

"By the way, where'd Lottie go?" He asked.

"She's right there... oh no." Alia pointed across the table where Lottie was sitting but she wasn't there.

Ellie and Alia looked at each other and started silently fighting.

"GUYS, where is Lottie? Is she okay? Why are you acting so weird?" Jamie sat down next to Alia.

"Awwwwwwwww" Alia and Ellie said in unison.

"That's so cute, you're worried about Lottie!" Ellie exclaimed.

"He should be worried." Alia said punching Ellie in the arm.

"Are you going to tell me why I should be worried?" Jamie asked.

"Lottie drank a serum that turns you into a kid and now she's gone." Alia said pointing to the glass.

"What?!" Jamie said looking a mix of angry and worried.

Alia was about to say something when she smiled, "Did you hear that?"

"Hear what?" Ellie asked.

"Listen carefully." Alia said.

Just then all three of them heard a little giggle.

"Ohhhhh, if Lottie's a little kid she must have shrunk. Her clothes probably shrunk down with her. But... just in case." Alia covered Jamie's eyes with her hand. "Ellie you're her roommate, you check."

Ellie stood up and leaned forward and smiled wide, "Awwwwww."

Alia took her hand off Jamie's eyes and looked too, "Oh my god! She's so cute!"

"Jamie before you get mad at us, just look." Ellie said.

Jamie rolled his eyes and stood up to see a tiny version of Lottie giggling and clapping her small hands while Ellie and Alia played peek-a-boo with her. "I have no idea what to say about this." He said trying not to smile.

"What are we supposed to do? Classes start in 45 minutes." Ellie said.

"The serum wears off in 24 hours, Lottie will be back to normal tomorrow morning and there is no antidote." Alia explained.

Jamie sat down next to Lottie to make sure no one saw her which was easy since Lottie's head didn't even reach the table and Jamie was at least 8 times her size.
