Chapter 7: School

Rosa's Pov

Nate put my shopping bags on the floor of my room. I sweat dropped while he put every... 4 bags of each hand down

"Did we really need to buy this much?" I asked. he chuckled while he took out a pair of Rose earrings he bought me and put them on for me. I blushed and avoided eye contact while he did it

"Why not? We'll be attending school for a month and you can't wear the same thing every day" he smiled

"I'm not planning to impress anyone"

"Yeah, but it's good to make yourself feel confident and think highly of yourself" I looked away as he backed off "there, beautiful" he lift my chin to look at his eyes "like you" he winked. I punched his cheek and went to look through the shopping bags

I took out a bunch of different solid color shirts, either long sleeve or short sleeve. i took out a white Hoodie with a black Pokeball logo on the front. jeans, shorts, a visor, a black wet suit that covered my legs, and a pink bikini top. it connected around my neck just like my tank top I use to always wear. Nate thought it would be good to idea to wear the wet suits under our clothes once we start our journey in the spring

I took out some running shoes, and accessories for my hair and put them in the drawers "don't forget the bag you picked out" Nate said while showing me the big bag that looked like it could fit anything. I nodded, took it and put my sack inside

"Thanks.." I muttered

"What was that?" He smirked. I rolled my eyes and started feeding my Pokemon. Castform changed forms... looks like it's raining outside

"I said thank you" I said louder, annoyed

"For?" I looked in his eyes and couldn't help but smile, my heart felt warmer for some reason

"For all that you've done... I would still be ice cold in Castelia if you never found me in that alley" his face changed color "so thank you..." he nodded, was about to take a step forward before he heard someone calling for him

"Yo! Nate!" A male voice called. he sighed and walked over to the door

"Who's that?"

"My best friend, Hugh. I want to tell you that he absolutely hates Team Plasma... because they stole his littles sisters Pokemon" I furrowed my brows

"Was she-"

"No, she was very caring towards it. they just stole it for no reason" I nodded and continue putting things away "stay here, I don't want to cause his head to blow" I shrugged and held my heart, feeling cold again

"Whatever... i don't really care" he frowned

"Rosa..."

"Go away, seriously" he sighed and shut the door. I sat on my bed and hugged a pillow

"Why does my heart feel like this when he leaves..?" I laid on my bed and decided to take a nap

Nate's Pov

It never cross my mind on how fast the shine from Rosa's eyes disappear so quickly... one minute, they're shiny, which cause her to be very sweet and have emotions, then they become dull and make her mean and emotionless...

I walked out the room and made my way downstairs to see Hugh and a couple of my other friends, Jack, Mike, and Cam, standing near the couch

"Nate!" They smiled. I smiled and took off my jacket

"Where did you go?" Jack asked, preferring to my jacket

"I was out"

"Where?" I played with my lips
