My Sins | Completed

F O U R T E E N

Draco's POV

I held Ivy's limp body in my arms, my tears dripping onto her dead body. Why? Why did she have to risk her life? I love her so much, and I didn't get a chance to explain how much I do to her. I held her in my arms, and then Professor Mcgonagall puts her hand on my shoulder and says.

"I'm sorry Draco, I know how much you loved her. But we must bring her to the hospital wing." 

"O- Okay." I stutter.

I lift her up and walk to the hospital wing. I set her down on a bed and kiss her forehead. Katelyn, Bexley, and Nate run into the room and when they see her body, they go quiet. Katelyn falls to the floor and starts to ball her eyes out. Nate bends down and wraps his arms around her. Bexley on the other hand, doesn't shed a tear. She stands at the foot of the bed and stares at her body. 

Out of nowhere she runs out of the room. I wanted to run after her but I couldn't, I just couldn't leave Ivy's side. 

Katelyn comes over to me and wraps her small arms around me. 

"Nate, can you check on Bexley for me?" I ask.

"Of course mate." Nate reply's in tears.

"I'm sorry Draco. I am so sorry." Katelyn says.

"She didn't deserve this." I whisper

I know why she wanted to fight Voldemort. She wanted to get back at him for making her kill her parents. I couldn't live without her. She was my everything, even though I never told her. She was.

I stayed the night in the hospital wing next to Ivy. I really couldn't believe she was gone. I cried all night long, there were a few other people in the wing who were injured. When morning came around, Madam Pomfrey insisted on me going to get some rest. 

I made my way to my dorm, I looked like hell. My hair was messy, my eyes were red and puffy from crying. As I walked into the Slytherin common room, Bexley, Katelyn, Nate, and Blaise were sitting on the couch's. Blaise spotted me and quickly came over and asked if I was okay.

"I'm not okay, how could I be okay." I yell.

"I'm sorry mate, I know this is horrible but we need to move on. It is what Ivy would have wanted." Blaise says.

"She didn't want any of this! Do you fucking understand that? Her last words to me were, I love you. I didn't get to say it back! You don't know what it feels like to love someone so deeply and lose them in a split second!" I yell.

The common room goes quite. I quickly walk up the stairs to my dorm. I slam the door and fall to the ground. I get up and walk to the bathroom. My fist connects with the mirror and glass goes flying everywhere. 

"Why her? Why couldn't it have been me!" I scream.

Ivy's POV:

I felt dizzy and saw black, white, black, white. I opened my eyes and was at King's Cross Station, but everything was white. Like the clouds. I looked behind me and saw a a man and a woman. My parents.  

I ran over to them and melted into their arms.

"Hello sweetie." Ember says.

"Mom, dad? How can I see you?" 

"You died. But you have a charm that can help you." Andrew says.

"What charm?" 

"A charm that can reverse your death. You can live again." Ember says.

"How is that possible?"

"Magic sweetheart. Come with us." Andrew says.

My mother and father lead me to a door, it looked like white marble. 

"Before you open it, we love you so much darling. And we forgive you for your sins. We know you did what you had to do. Always and forever." Ember says.

"I'm sorry mom, I'm sorry dad. I failed you both. Always and forever." 

I hug them both and open the door. A bright white light shines on my and I step through the door. I open my eyes and I'm at the edge of the forbidden forest.

I was in so much pain, I stood up and tried on balance on my wobbly legs. I made my way to the entrance of the school and opened the front doors. Everyone was in the Great Hall. I slowly made my way to the doors. Before I opened the doors I heard Dumbledore giving a speech.

"The surprise attack by Voldemort today was horrible. Those who were injured are healing, but Ivy Doxon has died. Voldemort killed her. It is tragic that happened. She will be remembered. But we must not dwell on her death. We need to prepare for the worst." 

When I heard that I felt a tear drop down my face. I pushed open the giant doors of the Great Hall with every ounce of energy I had left. I fell to the ground. Everyone looked and saw me. Students started to whisper things, as the teachers rushed over to me.

Professor Mcgonagall helps me off the ground.

"How are you alive?" Dumbledore asks.

"Let's just say I have a charm." I say giving a weak smile.

"We need to get her to the Hospital Wing now." Mcgonagall says panicking. 

"Prefects, take your house to your common room." Snape yells.

Mcgonagall and Dumbledore help me to the Hospital Wing. Once we arrive I lay down on a bed.

"Now drink this." Madam Pomfrey hands me a cup of Healing Potion.

I drink it and cough quite a bit. While the teachers were talking, my mind wandered of to Draco. Where was he?

Then Draco came running into the Hospital, once he saw me he ran over and wrapped his arms around me and kissed my forehead. He got onto the bed and kept hugging me. 

"I love you so much. I am never leaving your side again!" Draco wines.

"I hope not." I giggle.

"But, how are you alive?" Draco asks.

"Well, my parents had given me a charm that can reverse death." 

"That is weird, but I am thankful you had it!" Draco says with a smile.

I was so happy that I had Draco, he was my everything. I don't know what I would do without him. 

"I have to ask you this, will you be my girlfriend?" Draco asks.

"Of course ferret." I laugh.

"I would push you off of this bed but you just came back from the dead." Draco says with a look.

Nate, Bexley, Katelyn, and Theo come running into the Hospital wing.

"Oh Merlin's beard your alive!" Katelyn shouts.

The rest of the day is resting  in bed and telling everyone about how I came back from the dead.

Madam Pomfrey let me go the next morning. When I got to my dorm I already had an outfit laid out on my bed. Apparently Bexley and Katelyn did this.

"Well, lets get ready." 

I put on black leggings and Draco's quidditch jersey. I also paired it with my converse. I sprayed my perfume on and left my dorm to find Draco.
