Finally we arrive on campus, and all I can think about is getting to my room. We head upstairs and then head on to my room. To my surprise the door is slightly open yet I clearly recall locking it before I had left. I open it slowly and then once it's I'm in shock of what I have just witnessed. How can anyone do this? I quickly run towards the wall right above my head board and try to remove what had been written. It's written in blood; MURDERER.
What kind of person would do such a cruel thing? Who's blood did they even use? Tears roll down my cheeks as I notice the blood stains on my beddings."No, no, no, no, no," I cry as I raise my hands to cover my mouth.
"What did I do to possibly deserve this?"
"Come here," Hunter pulls me into a hug.
"There there, it's going to be alright."
How can one be so certain in a situation like this? How is it possible that someone could've gotten into my room and killed my puppy and put it's lifeless body inside my beddings? Who would ever think of doing such a cruel thing? And I assume that's the blood they had used to write the cruelsome message that they had left for me. Why me?

"Hey Maddie," Jasmine says as she pulls me into a hug."Hi," I say as my voice breaks and I shade more tears.
"I heard what happened, I'm sorry I wasn't there for you."
"It's okay, the important thing is that you're hear now."
I hug her tighter before I let go.
"Are planning on reporting this to the police?" She asks in concern.
"No, I don't want them to get involved, whoever this is might come after the people who I love so I don't even intend to risk it."
"And then what happens if they come after you?" She asks in awe.
"I'll deal with it the only way I know how," I assure her.
"You can't be serious? Are you even listening to yourself? Cause you sound like you're going mad, there's a killer out there who's after you and you expect me to just sit and watch when you could be next?"
"Need I remind you that this isn't your problem, I can deal with it on my own, if I wanted anyone to help me, I think I would've asked for it."
"Maddie please just let me help?" She pleas
"Jazz if you really want to help, just stay out of it, I don't want anyone else to get hurt because of me I already have blood on my hands," I say sadly.
"I thought we were in this together," she reminds me.
"Not anymore," I tell her and then walk away.
I don't want anyone else getting hurt because of me. I've got two deaths already on my hands. Hopefully, if the killer thinks I've shunned the people I care about then hopefully he won't go after any of them. As I am walking, I run into Lukah.
"Hey Maddie."
"Hey."
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine."
"I heard what happened, you don't have to lie about it."
"Well I'm sure you know that I don't like people worrying about me," I say lowly.
"I know, but I'm not one you can lie to."
"Oh wow, now is when you want to act as though you're actually concerned about me or that I mean anything to you."
