I WOKE UP with an ache in my chest. It had been two months and still I wake hurting sometimes. I had dreamt of my childhood, specifically all the times I hung out with Ewan.

Rubbing my eyes and sharply inhaling, I remove the covers from me and get up. Lately I'd been waking up before sunrise, before Abigail gets up to tend to me.

Dressing myself I get ready for patrol duty around the perimeter of Camelot.

I had just got back from picking flowers in a field, wanting to surprise the royal ladies of the household. Glancing up I notice Merlin and Gaius wheeling something around the corner rather surreptitiously. "What are you doing?" Asking out of curiosity but Merlin seems surprised to see me.

"Er... just moving something."

"Looks heavy." I comment, trying to see over his shoulder without any luck.

"Erm, it's nothing really. Erm... did someone get you flowers?"

"Oh! No, I got these for Morgana and Yvaine. Neither have been sleeping lately." I explain before giggling to myself from the thought I had. "Would you like one? A purple one." Taking the flower I hand it to him, "Purple suits you. Not that I'm saying red doesn't suit you."

"Thanks. Well, er..." Merlin sticks the flower in his scarf making me smile. "Er... see you."

"Bye." Merlin and I part ways, myself going to Yvaine's chambers first.

Upon knocking Abigail opens the door. I smile at her happily. "Hey Abigail, these are for Yvaine - is she in?" She smiles warmly back at me, taking the light blue flowers from my hands tenderly.

"No she's off on patrol this morning. Left just as I had gotten to the door. She'll really appreciate these Gwen, I'll make sure she knows they're from you."

"Okay. Has she been getting any better?"

"Ever since she got back from the trip she's been distant towards everyone except Leon. I think she's afraid to get close to anyone in fear they might leave her." Abigail replies sadly, shuffling her weight from each foot.

"Well she has us and we're not going away anytime soon." I beam, trying to cheer Abigail up.

"Yeah..." Abigail gestures to the flowers in thanks, retreating back into the room to put them into a vase. "I'll see you later?" She calls, turning back to face me.

"Of course!" I reply with a smile then make my way to Morgana's chambers, humming to myself.

The light was perfect this time of morning and the atmosphere was calm in the castle. I smiled to everyone I passed on my way. It only took me a couple minutes to get to Morgana.

"Good morning My Lady." I walk towards the table, checking if I needed to clean it off. Lady Morgana smiles at me as she walks over.

"You look happy." She remarks, studying my face.

Revealing the purple flowers from my side I show them to her, "I picked these for you."

"Oh, that's so sweet." She gently takes them from my hands, taking in its aroma.

"Something to cheer you up. I know you're not sleeping well." I explain.
