"so you're saying, a potion and animagi can help Rem?" James asked for the third time still not believing Diana.
"that's what I told you for the past 2 hours!" Diana said while she came close to James and flicked his forehead, he tried to flick her forehead too but she pointed her wand at him.
"So about this Animagi thing, how are we supposed to do that?" James asked curiously.
"about that, the process of it is tricky and hard but it is manageable.....I think." Diana paused. "and I'll study first about being an Animagi for the meantime, I'll try to brew a wolfsbane with Professor Slughorns help." She explained her plan to James, He nodded understanding her plan.
"By the way, where are the others?" Diana asked for Remus, Sirius, and Peter's whereabouts.
"Detention, They got caught picking up with Mrs. Norris while I was at the loo." James said, remembering how the cat jumped out of fright when Sirius barked at the cat.
"I'll head to the girls, I am sleepy as hell, I won't attend the evening feast!" Diana waved at James while she walks through the stairs to the girl's dormitory.
Diana slept through the whole night but was woken up when she heard someone sobbed. She shot up and look all the girls who were all asleep except for Marlene.
Marlene was at the corner of the room, sobbing her eyes out.
"Marlene? What- why are still awake?" Diana asked softly, coming closer to Marlene. Marlene looked up at her, she quickly stood up and hugged Diana.
Diana didn't question her and just let her cry on her shoulders until she calms down. Diana pulled Marlene outside so they can talk properly and won't disturb the others.
"hmm?" Diana looks at Marlene waiting for her to answer. Diana transfigured a blanket for Marlene.
"My parents are in St. Mungos, they got stunned badly when they tried to interfere in a duel at Diagon alley." She said between her sobs. Diana could feel the relief sound of her heart, knowing that they were only stunned now that there is some news about this rising group of murderers.
"shhh, Marls you are so strong." Diana soothed her with words, eventually, Marlene calms down and her snores of her can be head these cause vibrations in Diana's chest as she was cuddled all around Diana.
Diana admired Marlene, no, Diana admired all of her girl friends. All of them has a different feature, all of them are so different yet so perfect for each other. Lily being the eldest of them, was the mother-like to them, always checking up them up, asking if did they eat or when some of them didn't attend the feast she'll bring some food to the dorm and let herself feed you.
Marlene the youngest, the bluntest of the group. If she doesn't like something she won't try to sugarcoat it, she'll say it straight up to you. But in their group Marlene is someone who wouldn't judge you even how big your mistake was, lots of student fears Marlene on her resting-bitch face as what some said, after hearing students fear the girl, she smirked. Marlene is one of the kindest souls Diana has ever met.
