5-Making Someone Wait

Shawn finished his set and get off the stage to see the fifth harmony girls panicking and arguing with each other.

"What happened to them?" He asked Andrew who gave him a pat on a back when he got off.

"One of the members got sick and was taken to the emergency room." Andrew told him and he frequently noticed the only member who wasn't there was Camila.

"Camila?" He asked.

"Yes Camila." Andrew told him.

"Where's she now? What happened to her?" He asked in a worry.

"I don't know but she's now in a hospital."

"God." He said taking out his phone to call her but her number was off. They just exchanged their numbers a day before. Standing there, he realised that the group went on a stage to perform and there was no one from whom he could ask about her. One name might had the information but he was too reluctant to go to him. Anyways he managed to gather courage to ask him about her, so he started moving towards Austin's dressing room. Door of the room was open and he was seemingly preparing for the performance.

"Hey! buddy how you doing man." Austin said as soon as he saw him standing in a doorway.

"I'm alright, what about you?"

"I'm too, just about to get on the stage."

"Yeah the show is going insane." He said and Austin noded smiling at him while his make up artist was puffing his face. "Did you talk to Camila? Is she alright?" He asked hesitantly clearing his throat.

"I don't know, I didn't get to see her..I was busy but she's in a hospital.." He adjusted his cap before moving. "I hope she's fine, don't worry man." He gave a pat on his shoulder and passed outside.

'What a dick, he doesn't even care to ask about her' Shawn thought in anger to himself. He was walking back to his room deep in his thoughts when his phone started buzzing and he took a sigh of relief to see Camila's number.

"Camila how are you?" He asked directly picking up the call.

"I'm her mother sinu." Sinu spoke on the other side.

"Oh I'm sorry."

"It's ok.. Camila is in the room and her phone was off, I'm sorry."

"I just wanted to ask about her, I'm Shawn, her tour mate."

"I know you boy.."

He smiled.

"Is Camila alright, what happened to her?"

"She's alright now, she is on drip. It happened cause of dehydration and eating unhealthy food." Her mother told him.

"Oh when is she getting discharged."

"In hour or two maybe."

"Ok tell her that she should take care of herself."

"I will Shawn, thank you for calling sweetie and asking about her."

"It's ok, bye" He said before ending the call.

"Shawn called to ask about you." Sinu said as soon as she stepped in Camila's room, she was still injected with an IV drip in her arm.

"Shawn Mendes?" She asked in a low sick voice.

"Yes..he's a really sweet boy. I was expecting Austin but he didn't call yet."

"Mama please don't start again, you know he'd be busy due to his show."

"Ok Mija but you've to take care of yourself now, you know Shawn was saying the same thing."
