26-Good As Gone

"It sounds beautiful." Scott said listening to the song on the laptop with his headphones on. 2018 brought new ideas for Shawn as they had been working in a studio for the whole first week of January and wrote few beautiful melodies, including Shawn writing about how he wanted Camila so bad that he was willing to wait for her until she'd become ready for him.

"I know it's beautiful..now I'm gonna send it to her." Shawn said smiling as he searched for the song in his phone.

"What you doing? Will you send it now?" Teddy asked.

"Yeah! I'm gonna send it to her right now..I can't wait anymore." Shawn shrugged.

"Wait.. don't send it to her now." Scott told him. "Aren't you gonna meet her at grammys."

"Yeah in two weeks..she'll be there in Newyork, you'll get to meet her Shawn." Teddy said.

"So what? I just wanna tell her..I mean Is that a problem?" Shawn asked.

"Nope but if you'd tell her in a person, it'd be better." Scott told.

"Scott is right, I'll suggest the same thing." Teddy added.

"Alright then I've to wait I guess.. maybe you're right, I should tell her by myself instead of sending a song on a phone."

Shawn waited impatiently to meet her but before it would happen Camila called him after three days.

"Hi!" Shawn said smiling at himself.

"How are you Shawn?" Camila asked.

"I'm fine..how are you? you'd be busy cause of your album release."

"Don't ask, I couldn't sleep for so many days." She told him.

"I can understand, Actually I can't wait to meet you... I've something to tell you."

"Really! I also wanna tell you something that's why I called."

"What did you wanna tell me?" He asked with a same smirk.

"No first you."

"I can't tell you now, I'll tell you when we'll meet in Newyork..just tell me yours."

"Alright!" She paused for a moment. "I met this guy, a dating coach actually and I went on a date with him, he's really nice....... Shawn are you listening?" She asked noticing the silence on other side of call.

"Umm y-e-yeah.." He gulped.

"So I was telling you about Matthew the guy I met and really liked, you remember we promised that we'll tell each other whenever we'll find special someone..well you never kept your promise as you didn't tell me about Hailey but it's fine."

"Camila, I've to go actually, I'll talk to you later." Shawn managed to say as he wanted to cry so bad at her words. He couldn't hear her talking about someone else for any longer so he decided to end the call before he lose his temper.

"Shawn what you doing here, you've to fly to Newyork in two days, go get ready." Andrew said from behind as Shawn plopped on couch.

"What happened Shawn? Is everything alright?"

"I don't wanna go to Newyork now."

"What? But you've to attend grammys and you were so excited for seeing Camila."

"I don't wanna see her now." He said a little louder.

"I don't have time for your mood swings Shawn..you know you've a job, you've to attend the ceremony and it's the big event you always wanted to attend." Andrew declared before leaving him alone.
