Chapter 5 : New life

Danileigh stirred the coffee in her hands as she watched her best friend get prepared for work. Alot has happened since that night

Lexi had been so furious she drove back to the Perkinson's mansion and really whipped Christian in the ass, after then they had left to talk to danileigh's foster parents not like the give a flying fuck tho, on the contrary they were really glad to get rid of danileigh

And no Christian never showed up pleading and begging for danileigh to take him back, somehow she wished he had hell she waited for him but Christian went off to college without looking back and finally breaking the last piece of danileigh's heart

Seeing she had nothing left in the town, danileigh decided to leave to prolly start her life afresh somewhere nobody would know her Lexi wasn't going to let her leave all by herself so she packed her bags and left with danileigh not like she had plans on going to college anyways

Danileigh smiled, Lexi has been the absolute best! Going with her for her anti natals, dealing with her extreme mood swings and ofcourse the crave. Honestly danileigh felt Lexi has done more than enough for her

Danileigh chuckled, leave it to Lexi to name her shoes

Lexi brightens, quickly tucking her white pumps back into her closet

"I knew you'd choose this, it's just so badass... So what are you gonna do while I'm gone? Don't tell me stuff your face with gummy bears while watching telenovelas"

Danileigh bit her lower lip, an habit she just couldn't get rid of. That has been her plans and Lexi knew it damn well

"Actually those were my plans but I was also planning on cooking, I have this crave for lasagna"

Danileigh beams, at least Lexi haven't guessed one thing. Lee groans looking at danileigh through the mirror while fixing her updo ponytail

"Just because I didn't say cooking doesn't mean I don't know you would, as much as I love your lasagna I also love seeing you live Dani and you haven't done that since you got knocked up"

Danileigh bit her lip harder, Lexi was right and she hated it.she could see the knowing smirk grow on Lexi's face from the corner of her eyes

Darn it! That obviously means she's up to no good!!!

Lexi turned back still fidging with her updo

"How about you follow me to work? Not that you'll do anything but if you want to I don't mind setting you up"

Lexi winked and danileigh could swear she felt her face burn with a blush

Danileigh doesn't have an issue with going out with Lexi hell! A change of environment will do her and the baby good but the problem is where Lexi worked. It was a strip club for fuck sake! Although it had a coverage at the top as a restaurant with a nice cosy bar and light jazz music. Most people come in not knowing what was going on underneath she definitely didn't want to be in such a place

Lexi seeing her friend's facial expression knowing well that she was about to disagree she turned to danileigh holding her hands together as if in a form of prayer and gave danileigh her best poker face

"C'mon daniii!!! It's just one night and I'll be with you till my shift starts then maybe you can decide if you want to leave or not. You don't have to follow me underground just a nice chill out evening sipping some fancy non alcoholic beverages will do you good, think about it"

Darn Lexi and her easy ways to get danileigh on board with most things her brain certainly disagrees with

"Just 2 hours tops and I'm back, not more than that"

Lexi squealed dragging danileigh towards her room

Lexi gasp when she was done with the final touches of danileigh's makeup, she was certainly going big for the two hours alright! She had forced Danileigh into wearing a knee length gown with a huge opening at the back and cleavage giving it a slutty yet cute look

"I'm so jealous of your boobs right now" Lexi frown looking down at her c cup although it fits perfectly well with her tiny waist and huge ass. Danileigh laughs

"I look like a balloon forced into a dress Lee, look boobs are about to spill out of the dress I swear. Oh gracious this is ridiculous!"

Lexi glared at her friend, she just couldn't believe danileigh called herself a balloon! Sure she was 6 months along but the baby bump added a cute fitting to the gown

Danileigh stared at Lee, ofcourse she shouldn't be surprised about the things that flys out of her bestfriends mouth she never had a filter before and she doubt she'd ever!

"Let's just get going" danileigh mumbled picking up her stuffs from around the house

Cellphone, keys, lipgloss, money, pack of gummy bears......

Lexi tried to hide her laugh when she saw her friend grab the pack of gummy bears, she chose not to say anything as she held danileigh's arm walking her out of the apartment and into the car

It's a short update, I had an issue and I'm still yet to resolve it. I might loose one of the best things that has happened to me this year and I don't know what state of mind to be in
