Chapter 5

I stay outside for a little while after William goes back inside. I think he was a little pissed off I didn't tell him what he clearly already knows but never mind.

My phone buzzes and Arthur's name flashes across the screen.

I love the buzz I still get when he texts or calls me. The buzz inside of me, not the phone. It's always exciting and I hope that never goes away.

"I Hope you have the best time this evening baby, you look beautiful and I love you" it reads.

Beautiful, hmm would he think I still looked beautiful with this outfit on. It leaves very little to the imagination and I don't think he likes that. Arthur isn't into fake girls revealing all their body, well I don't think he is anyway.

"Thank you, I love you too" I reply.

I put my phone back in my bag and look out at the lake. It's so peaceful here, beautiful scenery and somewhere you can really gather your thoughts.

Beyond the lake is fields, fields upon fields but I can't really see them. I bet in the daytime this place is mind-blowing. I never think to look outside here come the morning I am normally just in a rush to get home. I'm really into scenery, I find it really relaxing and therapeutic. If you find a really good spot, somewhere you can get lost in your thoughts, it's really good for the mind.

"Hey babe" I hear a voice behind me.

Oh Yay it's Jason, brilliant. What does he want, this is going to be awkward considering we have never really spoken before.

"Hey" I awkwardly say.

"Here I got you a drink, Vodka coke do you like that?" he asks.

"Great , thanks".

He takes a seat next to me passing me a cigarette. I decide to take the cigarette out of his hand and he lights it for me. He is awkwardly staring at me and I can feel his eyes burning on me.

"So Lucy, tell me about you?".

"Erm ok, What do you want to know?"

"Well we have never really spoken before after being in school and the same group for four years so I thought it's about time we got to know each other. You certainly are intriguing "

"Oh, erm well I don't really know what to say. I mean I don't have a fun filled life and I'm really boring in comparison to most.I'm not that interesting "

Jason turns and looks at me. In fact he is staring and it's making me feel uncomfortable. I'm unsure where to look so I just focus on looking ahead. He slides his body across the swing chair to sit right next to me. We are so close now our legs are touching, my heart is racing but not in a good way . I'm so thankful for the million tequila shots William gave me otherwise I would feel even more weirded out than I do now, I'm not sure that is possible though.

He places his hand on my bare skinned leg, it's cold and he starts slowly rubbing my leg.

"You're cold Lucy"

His hand is rough, you know in need of a little moisturiser. I'm surprised really as his skin always looks silky smooth, he is very vain so does look after himself. He is rubbing my leg as if to try and warm it up.

"You are not boring Lucy, you are mesmerising, I couldn't stop thinking about you when I was in there, you in this tight, tiny little dress. You are a right little dark horse aren't you. Showing off your figure, leaves little to my imagination you know" he slurs.

Fuck, ok so he is drunk, is he just being nice or is he going to hit on me. God I hope he is just being nice, I have never been hit on before. Arthur never really hit on me it just kind of happened. Just ended up falling in love after spending so much time together but he never made me feel uncomfortable when we spent so much time together or he placed his hands on my body.
