Chapter 17

"Guess who's arrived, yass I'm here bitches" Elsie screeches as she walks through the front door.

Bottles clank together as the rest of the group walk in and it feels like my special time with Arthur and the whole trip is ruined.

"Wow guys this place is fucking awesome" William says looking around.

"A fucking hot tub, hope you girls have your bikinis for later?" Liam winks nodding at the girls.

"Ergh gross" Jade replies turning her nose up.

The morning had been just beautiful, Arthur and I had enjoyed a peaceful breakfast on the decking and I had felt the happiest I have felt in what seems like forever. The time we had spent here alone really hasn't been long enough, however I am going to try to have some fun so I need to get over it.

"Baby come here" Arthur waves me over.

Putting his arm around me and raising his glass he says "I want to wish my beautiful girl the best birthday weekend, I know it's early but let's celebrate in style and make this as special as she is"

"Woohoo" everyone cheers.

I kiss Arthur "Thank you"

"Stop thanking me, you deserve it. Now drink this and let's have some fun"

I down the glass of fizz Arthur hands me and help myself to a rosé which is much nicer.

We all sit down outside on the decking, music blaring and chatting away. It is actually nice, Elsie isn't overly in my face and I like that. The distance between us is what is needed to keep it amicable. The sun is beaming hot onto us which makes the effects of the alcohol work quicker than expected.

"Let's play, never have I ever" Elsie says.

Oh fuck sake, she's 17 not 10. Never have I ever is just a way to be nosey and intrusive in someone else's life. I don't care if Elsie has shagged someone in a car and I don't wish to spill my personal sex life.

"I'll go first, Never have I ever slept with someone else's boyfriend" Mabel says.

Of course Jade and Elsie take a sip of drink whilst giggling proudly of their achievement.

"Never have I ever had sex in a car" Liam says, whilst taking a sip from his own cup.

Everyone drinks whilst me and Arthur sit and watch innocently.

Arthur starts speaking and my heart sinks, what is he going to say.

"Never have I ever fucked someone in a hot tub"

Arthur takes a sip from his cup and everyone starts laughing. My stomach churns over and I feel embarrassed. Is he for fucking real, I was the bait for his joke and ego boost. How fucking insensitive.

"You two didn't, in there. Bloody hell Lucy I didn't think you had it in you, you little princess" Elsie says.

"Never have I ever faked an orgasm" I burst out whilst taking a sip from my cup, two can play that game.

I can feel Arthur's eyes burning on me, his hurt and embarrassed too. Everyone's eyes widen but they all take a sip. And there you have it 1 all, I will not be the centre of a sexual joke. That stuff is personal to me and I am hurt that Arthur thinks it's ok to speak about me, us in-front of everyone.

The two look at each other before Liam stands up walks over to Mabel and quite literally eats her face. It's quite disgusting really but he thinks it's cool and walks back to his seat smiling fist pumping Arthur in the way.

"Arthur truth or dare?" Liam asks.

"I dare you to kiss Elsie"

My heart falls out and I feel a wave of heat overcome me. He wouldn't, would he?

Arthur's looks at me for approval. If he needs me to honestly give him approval to kiss another girl in front of me rather than just saying no I am done, how would he like it if I kissed Liam!

"I can't guys, that's unfair. I'll do truth"

"Ah so lame, just a game. Ok best sex you have ever had? " Liam says.

"Hmm, hot tub or up against the tree in the woods on the way to Jason's"

Who is this man, this man I thought I knew and had unbreakable trust with. Everyone is giggling and feel flushed and embarrassed. It was good but why did we all have to share everything with each other, sexual experiences an all. I felt pissed off at Arthur but also a little smug that he did enjoy it. Perhaps I am just a bit uptight and I need to relax a little bit, lighten up like the other girls.

I stand up and take a seat on Arthur's lap, I place my hand at the back of his neck and stroke his hairline.

"It's getting chilly now, don't you think" I whisper to him.

"We could go inside and get a blanket if you want darling"

" I was thinking of something else" I whisper, biting the corner of his ear.

All this talk of our previous sexual encounters makes me want more, now.

His eyes widen and he pushes me off his lap before we slip away from the group. I'm unsure if they even notice as they continue chatting and don't question our departure.

We don't even make it upstairs before Arthur throws me against the wall and hitches my skirt up. His shorts drop to the floor and he picks me up around his waist pushing me against the wall. My legs feel wobbly, I adjust my skirt and slowly head upstairs to the bathroom.

As I stare at my reflection in the mirror I wonder who I am, this girl I've become. I'm having sex anywhere and everywhere, I have little respect for myself letting Arthur speak about me the way he does. I'm just so desperate to be this perfect little couple, perfectly in love and living a fairy tail.
