"so, tell me" Siyeon started as we went outside the shop, i let out a sigh. "i adopted her because she has no other places to go, i will feel like i'm the meanest person if i let her live on the streets alone." i said, "but what if her parents are finding her? you might get in trouble for adopting her Sua" she fired back, i let out a deep breath and faced Siyeon confidently.
"she's being abused by her family, Siyeon. I hate seeing young people being abused by their love ones, do you even have a heart? If you see someone like this kid with me, after knowing what's she's been getting through, will you still let her pass by? will you let her live on the streets alone?! Siyeon, i know you care but if i get in trouble by adopting her, i will handle it. Don't worry, thank you for your concern" i said and walked back inside the shop, Gahyeon was still there on the shelf of clothes.
"Gahyeon-ah" i called, she looked at me and smiled, "mom!" she said cheerfully and approached me, i will never let this precious kid feel pain again. She deserves the whole world, "are you done choosing?" i asked with a smile, she nodded. "mom, who's that lady earlier?" she asked, i blinked a few times, "why? is she scaring you?" i asked back, she shook her head.
"do you hate each other?" she asked, i hummed. "well i used to hate her that much back then but i see her as my friend now" i said and held Gahyeon's hand so we can go to the cashier and paid her choosen clothes. While paying the clothes, "30,000 won" the cashier said, i smiled and brought out my wallet to get some money. It took me a minute before i handed the cashier the right amount of money. The cashier put the clothes on a paper bag and handed it to me, i took it and all of sudden..
"Gahyeon-ah, let's g-" i didn't finish what i was about to say when i noticed that Gahyeon isn't with me anymore, i hissed, "excuse me, did you see the kid i was with earlier?" i asked the cashier, she shook her head so i let out a sigh. Don't tell me she got lost here on the big mall, i also asked the guard if she saw a girl wearing a pink shirt with a coat but sadly, he didn't.
I wandered my eyes on the place, there's a lot of people and i'm being anxious. Gahyeon please show yourself.. I was about to walk away but someone held my arm, i immediately glanced at the back and saw Siyeon with Gahyeon on her arms. I let out a sigh of relief.
"Gahyeon-ah, if you're going away please tell me" i said as Siyeon put her down, i held both of Gahyeon's shoulder. "mom is worried" i added, she nodded.
"i'm sorry mom.." she mumbled, i slyly smiled and told her that it's okay. I looked at Siyeon and she shrugged her shoulders, "i saw her lost on the crowd" Siyeon said, i bit my lower lip and bowed at her, "thank you Siyeon-ssi" i said and held Gahyeon's hand, "we need to go" i added, she smiled.
"go ahead, see you tomorrow at 6pm" she said to me before she looked at Gahyeon, i can see that she's happy. "don't go out without your mom little one, be careful alright?" she warned Gahyeon.
Gahyeon smiled and nodded, Siyeon's smile becomes wider and she waved her hand to us before she walk away, i let out a sigh. "why do you hate her back then mom? she's nice"Gahyeon said so i looked down at her, she was smiling. "do you like being with her Gahyeon-ah?" i asked, she nodded. So i'm right, she likes Siyeon's company already..
