Chapter Two - She is my greatest fear (Part two)

Camila was waiting outside the hotel for her but she looked like something was bothering her. Lauren didn't know if she should address it or just leave it. All she knew was seeing her that way made her sick. Camila has the most beautiful smile she ever had seen and it hurt knowing that something was bugging her so much that she lost it. It hurt even more thinking that she could be the reason.

"Are you okay?", Lauren asked worried.

"I'm just tired, yesterday was a lot", Camila answered looking down.

"Okay so I'll drive to the airport now and we'll talk there because as always we still have a lot of time", Lauren said smiling.

Camila said nothing, she looked lost in her thoughts so Lauren turned on the radio.
"Ex Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello broke the internet yesterday with her performance at the VMAs. Fans are speculating if that song could be about her ex band mate Lauren Jauregui" Lauren turned the radio off panicking a little bit.

"I'm sorry I didn't know that they would talk about that I mean how could I, they always do what they want and-" Camila cut her off saying: "It's fine, I don't really care", which made Lauren's heart drop. "But I do", she said focusing on the road.

Camila stayed silent. This wasn't how Lauren imagined them to be. They were supposed to have fun together. They were supposed to laugh but this Camila wasn't her Camila.
When they got to the airport Lauren helped Camila with her bags.

"What do you have in there?", Lauren asked her laughing.

"Just a bunch of dresses. I decided last minute what to wear for that performance", she said not meeting Lauren's eyes.

"You looked stunning.", Lauren said and Camila blushed nodding to thank her.

"So let's get rid of the bags and drink a coffee somewhere since we're both tired after last night", Lauren said not realizing how wrong that sounded.

Camila tried to hide her blush and followed Lauren.
They found a cute Café and suddenly Lauren felt nervous. Should she tell Camila about the PR stunt now? But if not now then when? People could listen to them on the airplane.

"You go find a place for us to sit and I'll get the coffee", Lauren said to Camila smiling.

Camila looked exhausted but she was still breathtakingly beautiful. To Lauren Camila was a goddess nothing could make her seem ugly. Maybe it was because she had those deep feelings for her but either way Lauren admired her so much.
After Lauren got their coffee and some cheesecake she made her way to Camila. They sat in front of a window.

"What's on your mind?", Lauren asked trying to get Camila's attention.

"Isn't it weird how everything changed but it still feels the same?", Camila said not meeting her eyes.

"What do you mean?", Lauren asked. Did Camila meant her feelings for her?

"I don't know I'm just tired", Camila said sighing.

"Tired of what?", Lauren asked trying to understand what was bugging the brown eyed girl so much.

"Why did you came to the VMAs? You never show up to events I'm at.", Camila said now meeting her eyes.

"Because I wanted to. I wanted to see you. I was tired of running away.", Lauren said staring into her eyes.

"Running away from what?", Camila asked and took a sip of her coffee.

"From you?", Lauren said nervously playing with her fingers.

Camila let out a small laugh not saying anything.
