Lifting her head from the dark wooden desk was Lim Ju kyung. She was still annoyed because of the duo who argued too much. Now to add more to her pain was the devilish sound of her teacher telling her to do the sum on the board.
Now ju kyung stood between, Lee Eun sang and Lee Suho, the brightest kids in the class. Writing like a robot with a monotone face was Suho who was almost done with his question while Ju kyung had not even started.
"Hey, Lee suho. Help me please." Suho just ignored her and finished this question walking back to his seat. Her eyes now turned towards Eun sang asking her for help. The teacher praised him and assured him that he would win the competition, not that he doubted himself. Eun sang made a mental note of winning him in that competition.
Eun sang knew that being good in maths was not a gift everyone had received so she readied herself to whisper and tell Ju kyung the answer.
"Do x minus .." Her soft voice was cut off by the loud and mocking laugh of Seojun. He clearly found Ju kyung's dumbness hilarious. Not remembering himself that he was on her same level.
"Seojun must know the answer. Come solve it for her." Their teacher commanded Seojun who pretended drop be yawning and falling asleep.
Giving up he stood up to go and do the question. Passing Ju kyung along the way, he sneered at her making his hands into the shape of claws like an angry cat.
Upon reaching the board and seeing the question, he mentally cringed. He didn't understand anything that was written in the board. He now looked towards the brunette who was concluding her answer.
Seojun moved closer to her very slowly and started whispering. "Yah! How do I solve this?"
"I'm not telling you. Did you forget? I'm yet angry!" She whisper yelled at him still mad.
"What do you need me to do, for you to forgive me. I'll do anything-anything."
"Apologize to me after the class ends." She demanded even though she knew Seojun's would never agree to say sorry. He had a big ego.
His concern for his reputation became greater than his ego and he agreed to apologise to her later.
"And also clarify to everyone that we are not dating." She said fake writing over her written calculations.
Hesitantly he agreed and the brunette whispered the correct working out to him. They both placed down their chalks at the same time and sat on their seats. The teacher was very impressed with Seojun that she even went to a height of asking him to Jon the maths competition.
As soon as the bell rang, Seojun stood up to fulfill his part of the promise. "Yah!" He gained the attention of the whole class. "I have something to say."
Eun sang only looked at him and raised her eyebrows telling him to continue. "Eun sang is not my girlfriend yet. But if I see any of you boys next to her,you will not live to see another day!" He threatened and walked away from class with his swaggy demeanor.
The brunette's friends immediately surrounded her as other people started gossiping. Lee Suho was happy that Seojun wasn't using his sister.
"Are you dating Seojun really?!" Soo ah enquired nosily. "No! He just clarified that he was messing around with me." Eun sang defended herself.
"Tsch! He is just a five year old child stuck in an eighteen year olds body. Let's go have some food." Soo jin said as Ju kyung followed behind her.
"If you were ever dating him, you would tell me, right?" Soo ah asked worried that her friend would lie to her again.
"Of course. No more secrets. I promise." She assured as they walked to the cafeteria to fill their stomachs with delicacies.
Eun sang sat at Lim Ju kyungs mother's shops sofa while watching a customer. She was dragged to the shop by Ju kyung who just wanted to be in her company. So, she was stuck there until Ju kyungs mother didn't officially give her permission to go home.
In walked Ju kyung with her bear face without make up. The brunette scanned her face as she wiped it with a towel. She looked almost similar with how she looked with make up. In fact she even looked fine without make up. What she didn't understand was how someone could have the audacity to call her pretty face 'ugly'.
"You're back as Ju kyung again. I honestly couldn't tell with all the make up." The customers voice rang and Ju kyungs smile fell. Her gaze fell upon Eun sang who now stood in level with Ju kyung.
Astonished by the beauty she blabbered her words out. "Your friend here is very pretty. She should give you tips on how to preserve your beauty like hers." She stated making ju kyung feel even worse.
"My secret is that I don't stick my nose into people's business. I just concentrate on myself. You should try it sometime." Eun sang smiled as her words dropped with venom. Her motto was to never control herself when someone talked bad about Ju kyung. And that motto she vowed to follow hence her words coming out rather harsh.
The ladys smile dropped and colour left her face. She was just told off by an eighteen year old. Her confidence left her body and she immediately bid Ju kyungs mother good bye and walked out.
Although Ju kyungs mother rwould never say it out loud, deep down she was proud of what Eun sang had done. The brunette had stood up for her daughter. Something she didnt even do herself.
Ju kyung who was now happy because of her friend just gave the brunette a side hug and thanked her.
The long haired girl then asked sher mom for the facial that was yet in her hand. Refusing to give her, the mother-daughter duo started arguing before the shop bell rang, indicating the entrance of someone.
Eun sang's eyes moved toward she door as she turned her body facing the direction. There walked in with his six foot glory, Seojun who was dressed in a grey hoodie and a sling bag across his chest with shopping goods hanging from his hands. His mother led the way in as she greeted Ju kyungs mother.
Upon realisation, the brunettes eyes widened. Ju kyungs bare face was being risked at the eyes of the bad boy himself.
