y/n stomped into the community house, walking up to the boy with glasses sitting at the table eating an apple.

"george what the fuck." she stated, crossing her arms and letting out a puff of air.

george looked up and raised an eyebrow, "what's up?" he asked carefully obviously seeing the anger seething from y/n.

"tommy is a child, george. why are you trying to get him exiled?" she yelled, waving her arms around.

"i never asked for him to be exiled y/n, that's dreams doing." he responded blandly, going to take another bite of his apple.

"so you don't want him exiled?" she asked, sitting down next to him.

"no i don't, yeah he did burn my house down but he said it was an accident." george said, "tommy's just a kid, he doesn't know right from wrong yet."

y/n hummed, making a mind note to go yell at dream after talking to george, "i'm sorry for yelling george, i honestly thought you put dream up to it or something..." she said, giving a light smile towards the boy with glasses.

"no i told dream it was fine, but he got all mad and left." george said, leaning onto his hand.

"god why is he so obsessed with tommy." y/n said, tugging at her hoodie stings.

"dream thinks tommy brings something to this world that he can't.. something that lets him have power." george rambled, eyes going wide realizing that he probably shouldn't have said that.

speaking of the devil, dream walked into the community house. y/n gave him the eyes a mother would give their child when they do something wrong. a mix of anger, and disappointment.

dream was stood frozen in the hallway, "y/n what do you want?" he asked, a clear hesitation in his voice.

y/n rolled her eyes, and stood, she walked up to dream and whispered, "come talk to me at tommy's bench when you can." she didn't even wait for a reply, she simply walked out the door and headed for said bench.

y/n was sitting calmly, watching the sun set through her newly sharpened sword. she had only been sitting for around an hour before she heard dream approach.

"please tell me this isn't about tommy." dream said, walking in front of the girl.

y/n patted the spot beside her, taking a deep breath and glancing up at him. dream cracked his knuckles at sat beside y/n, looking at her.

"dream, why are you exiling tommy." y/n said blatantly, she already knew the reason, she just wanted to see if he would lie.

dream huffed and looked foreword, "because y/n tommy is bad, he burnt george's house down and all he does is cause problems. unneeded problems." he said.

y/n always hated how dream used to lie all the time, always trying to find ways to benefit himself or make himself seem better.

"dream, you should know by now that i'm the only one that can see through your bullshit." she said, her voice clearly angry.

dream stayed quiet.

"tell me the truth dream. because you know this won't end well for you in the end." y/n continued.

dream seemed tense, he always knew y/n could see right through him, but he never stopped lying.

"y/n i don't have to tell you anything." dream finally responded after a moment to himself, his previous clenched fists resting.

y/n turned to him, "and why's that." she responded blandly.

dream laughed, or giggled per say, "because i think you must have forgotten that i'm the one who hold power over you. god y/n you must be stupid, you think i'm going to tell you anything." he said, his psychopathic side showing through.

"dream you don't have power over me." y/n said, leaning away from him.

dream stood, stretching his arms, "oh yes i do, and once you realize that i'm the one who allows you to do anything here, that i'm the one keeping you from dying y/n, oh believe me, you'll realize that i have power over you and every single mother fucker in this place." he laughed, and looked back at the girl still sitting.

y/n grit her teeth, "fine dream, if you're the one keeping me from dying, and i seem to be such a bother to you why don't you just kill me already. you've taken so much from me and everyone here, i wouldn't even care." she said, and oh how she hated not being in a place of power.

dream turned, and after studying the girl for a moment grabbed her wrist and pulled her up, then in a sudden move, held her over the edge of the cliff in front of them. his hand was now gripping onto the upper of her shirt to keep her from falling to what would be her immediate death. just as y/n had predicted.

it was completely silent, neither saying a word until a smirk grew on y/n's face.

"what." dream said.

"you can't do it can you." y/n responded, "you're so fucking predictable."

dreams grip tightened onto her shirt as he pulled her back to him, but only to drop her on the ground beside him.

"dream i've known you for so long, don't you think i'd know if you were going to kill me it wouldn't be over a cliff." y/n said as she started to push herself up.

dream pulled his axe out, and held it to the girls neck. "i'm tired of you thinking you're better then me." he said through clenched teeth.

"i am better then you dream." y/n said as she tilted the axe away from her.

"you're not going to stop me from exiling him." dream said blandly before walking away, and disappearing down the path.

y/n sighed and brushed the dirt off her back before sitting back down on the bench, "i won't let him hurt you tommy." she whispered to no one in particular.
