Dahyun's PoV

I just looked at Y/N as she's sleeping quietly. You can clearly see the tiredness on her. Imagine she's been leading her team for the preparation of the first task that was given to them. Then this happened...

How did you able to keep it on us? How did you manage it by yourself?

"You did great Y/N," I mumbled.

Maybe it's a good thing that they were suspended. So she could take her rest.

I don't really care what happened just a while ago. As I said, Y/N kept it from us, there could be a big explanation for this.

"You'll always have me..."

I sighed and get the spare key in my pocket. I hid it as I saw them putting the handcuffs on Y/N.

I get the first aid on the cabinet and decided to treat the wound on Y/N'a's right wrist. Maybe it's because of the handcuffs.

After treating her wounds, I sighed and put back the handcuffs.

"I'm sorry, this is just for now. But this doesn't mean I don't believe you." I said as if she could hear me.

I stood up and get my phone to call someone.

"Hello, unnie?"

["Dahyun, What happened?"] I heard Irene from the other line.

"You have to go back as soon as possible, things are starting to get complicated."

["What happened? Mina didn't talk to me yet."]

I told to Irene everything happened, like what I expected she was shocked. She asked me why Y/N did that but even, I can't answer it.

["What's wrong with her, Is she ok now?"]

"She's taking her rest."

["Dahyun please look after Y/N. I'll get back there."]

"Ok, We'll wait."

After that, I ended the call. The unnies entered again just after I finished talking to Irene.

"You know that this is too much right?" I asked them.

"We'll remove it as Wendy woke up, we need to get her statemen-"

"Statement? Really? Wendy is allowed to give her statement but Y/N here was handcuffed even tho she didn't explain herself yet?" I asked as I glowered at them.

"You guys are being too much, you're being mean to Y/N. I know y'all doing this to repay the opportunities that were given to us. But this is too much."

"How can you say it's too much? We are just doing what we are supposed to do, Dahyun. You know our job." Jeongyeon unnie said

"Oh yes, our job is to stay with Y/N and make her comfortable with the person she's with. But you guys are being over, you forgot that we're working for Y/N."

I looked at Y/N and turned my gaze back to them.

"Y'all want to protect want we have right now, that's why you're doing your job even tho it didn't need all the time."

"Yes, I'm acting like this because I don't have someone now. Unlike y'all, you have a home where you can go back. Y/N is just my only home, that's why I'm being like this."

"Sometimes... please know where to stop you so call job, you didn't know it can ruin a friendship. Friendships that Y/N built again, and now you're lowkey excluding her."

After that, I sat back next to Y/N. No one dares to talk. Until the door opened.

"Guys, Chenle and Huening are fine now. Wendy is awake." Nayeon unnie said.

"I'll go." Jeongyeon unnie said and left.

I saw Jihyo unnie also did the same, while the others decided to stay.

Y/N's PoV

I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw is the white ceiling. I just stared still when Dahyun suddenly spoke up.

"You need anything?"

"I need to go to the comfort room," I said.

She looked around which I did too, Then I realized that the room doesn't have its own comfort room.

"Ok," Dahyun said and stood up. She gets something in her pocket and when I saw it, it's a key.

"No." I stopped.

"It's ok, they won't find out." She said and gave me a reassuring smile.

She helped me to stand up and we both walk out of the room.

"You shouldn't doing this, I may drag you into trouble."

"Im in." She said and handcuffed her hand with mine.

"Dahyun!"

"What? This is cute, now you need to bring me everywhere you go." She said and giggled.

"Aigoo, I need to use comfort room."

"Don't worry, I'll close my eyes."

I just shook my head and we both walk. The people are eyeing us but Dahyun doesn't seem bothered about it. As we arrived at the comfort room, I have no choice but to left the cubicle's door opened.

"This is crazy," I mumbled.

"Are you done?" She asked but not looking at me.

I just hummed and as I realized I need to wash, I suddenly remember that Dahyun was handcuffed with me.

"Dahyun, do you believe in me?"

"I always do Y/N." She answered without even thinking about it.

I just smiled and nodded.

"Yeah, can you remove this thing for a while, I need to wash."

"You have two hands Y/N."

"I'm right-handed."

"Then get used to using the left one,"

I just sighed and did what she said.

After that we walked out of the comfort room, I asked her if we could check on Chenle and Huening kai since she said they are fine now.

As we walk into their room, I saw Sanha and Lucas.

"Sunbaenim." They both utter and bowed.

Did they wake up already?"

"Not yet, the doctor said they will later on," Lucas said.

"Sunbaenim... The seniors asked us about what happened, we just told them what we know."

I looked down as I felt guilty that they need to get through on something that they shouldn't.

"I'm sorry for dragging you guys here. I'll try to talk to the seniors to exclude you in the punishment."

"No need Sunbaenim, we know that we didn't deserve this punishment. We believe you didn't do that... right?"

I didn't do that? I don't know...
