Dahyun's PoV

"Yes, I won't deny it. But I guess I need to stop it."

"Don't expect me to thank you for that." She chuckles

"I'm not, I just want to tell you... if ever you finally admit to yourself that you like Y/N, please make her feel worthy. She needs to feel it, not on me who she sees as her sister." I said and smiled bitterly.

"There is just this kind of precious people who appreciates the love coming from someone they didn't expect. We can't blame them, we can't say that they are not contented and that people are where Y/N belongs."

"In Y/N's case, it's her parents' who betrayed her. There's no way for her to trust another person who's she expects to trust. So I guess to validate that feeling of worthiness, she needs to feel it on someone she least expected."

After saying those words, I looked at Tzuyu who's just silent. I smiled at her and tapped her shoulders.

"I need to get some food, mind if you'll check on Y/N?" I asked.

"You don't need to ask for it." She said as she averts her gaze. I just chuckled and shook my head.

"Ok then, I'll be back in a minute," I said and turned around and walk away.

While walking I can't stop thinking about what I did. I can feel regrets but at the same time content.

Maybe if I didn't hear that last night, I'm not in this situation.

Flashback

I woke up as I felt that Y/N is no longer beside me. I sit up to search for her and noticed that Jihyo unnie is not also around. Suddenly I heard peals of laughter in the living room, I opened the door slightly and saw Y/N talking to Jihyo unnie.

"Mina, how about Mina?" I heard Jihyo unnie asked.

"Smart, smart among your group, "Y/N said.

"I'm the leader tho."

"So? I'm the leader of my group too, but I'm not that smart." Y/N said and laughed.

At that moment I unconsciously smile, her laugh feels like a flashing sound in the camera that whenever you heard it you are obliged to smile.

"Yeah right, whatever. Dahyun?"

My breathing stops as I heard Jihyo unnie mentioned my name. I went out a bit so I called her Y/N.

"My sister!" She confidently said.

At that moment, I know to myself that I'm still smiling, tho it is different now.

I automatically closed the door and walk back to my place. There's something inside me that is crying for pain but I can't just let it out.

"Next time be careful," I said and sighed while treating her wounds.

"You don't need to worry, this is just a scratch."

I stopped and looked at her.

"Sometimes I do hate you, why are you such numb." I seriously said.

"It's not that I'm numb, This scratch is really s-"

"Not that, Tss... Forget it."
