Your PoV

While the kids are having their break time, Dahyun and I decided to do the same. We walk into the cafeteria and just eat whatever snack they have.

"You look nice with the kids," Dahyun said that made me smile.

"Really?"

"Yeah, I took photos." She said.

She showed me the photos that she took on her phone. As I saw it, I looked at her confusedly.

"You only took photos of me."

"Yeah, cute isn't it?" She said and giggled.

I just hissed and gave back her phone.

After we finished eating, and bid out goodbye to the kids, we left the place.

"Where are we going next?"

"I need to go to the building, do you want to come?" I asked.

"Of course."

"Sunbaenim! Nice to see you here." Lucas said as we get into our room.

"How you guys doing?" I asked.

"All is good, no need to worry," Sanha said.

Dahyun and I just finished checking them, after that, we walk out and about to go back when we saw Mina unnie and Yeri talking.

"Hi, unnie!" I said as we walk to them.

"Oh Y/N, you checked out the boys?" Mina unnie asked.

"Yep."

"With Dahyun?"

"Yes!"-Dahyun.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Someone sent a certificate, sort of thanks certificate." She said.

"Oh?"

"Yeah, from a kindergarten school. Thanking us, after sending volunteers." Yeri said.

Oh, that's me and Dahyun.

"Y/N let's go," Dahyun whispered.

"Wait."

"That's weird, I can't remember I sent people to that place." Mina unnie said.

"Yeah, I also asked them if they are sure," Yeri said.

On that, I looked at Dahyun and she's not looking at me.

"Unnie, we'll go," I said and walk out with Dahyun.

"Volunteers huh? You set that, Aren't you?" I asked Dahyun.

"Uhm..."

"Thank you," I said and hugged her.

"Hehe, welcome. I just miss hanging out with you but it turns out that you spent much time with the kids." She said sulking.

"Ok, then you choose where we should go next, I don't feel going home yet," I said.

"You want to go to our house?"

"Sure, as long as there's no ghost there," I said and laughed.

We get a cab and ask it to bring us to Dahyun's house. Not so long we arrived at the place. As we go out, I roamed my eyes and realized that the place has fewer people and structures around.

"Let's go." She said and hold my hand as we get in. She removed the lock on the gate and we entered their yard.

"It's been a month since I the last time I visited here. So... sorry for the mess." She said as she opened the door.

We get in and only white fabrics can be seen. All furniture was covered but I can say that the place is not totally messy.

"It's already 3 years since I stopped going home here. After I got enough with my mom, I left her. Then look for an apartment to stay with." She said.

It must be so hard for her, I know she loves her mother yet she needs to protect herself too.

"Your dad?"

"He left first, that's why I suffered too much." She said as she removed the cover revealing a piano.

She sat on the chair and signaled me to sit beside her which I did.

"Do you want me to play this?" She asked.

"Sure."

She nods and conditioned her fingers then started to play it cool.

I just listened to her and watches her fingers lightly pressing the keys. Not so long I can hear sobs that made me look at her.

"D-dahyun."

She stops and faced me. Before I could ask, she moves closer and buried her face on my shoulder.

My shirt starting to become wet because of the tears from Dahyun. I just hugged her and tapped her back as I don't know what to do.

"I'm sorry, This is the only way I know," I mumbled.

"J-just stay."

I just nod after what she said. We remained in that position for long minutes until she calmed herself.

"What happened?" I asked.

"I miss mom, the mom that use to take care of me when I was a kid." She said hiding her face on my shoulder.

"She'll be fine, don't worry," I said.

"Y/N."

"Hmm?"

"Please, Don't ever leave me... Your shoulder is the only thing I would run to if I need to cry." She said that made my heart flutter.

"I won't."

"Promise me." She said but this time she faced me.

"I promise, I won't leave you. I won't leave you all." I said and smile.

"I..."

"What?" I asked as I tilted my head to see her since she looked down.

"Nothing, let's go in my room. I want to show you something." She said and stood up and grab my hand again.

Dahyun's PoV

"I promise, I won't leave you. I won't leave you all." She said and smiled.

I smiled but I don't know if what I am feeling. I want to tell her that I like her, like so much. But I am afraid. I know she already said that she won't leave me.

I trust her with that, but there's still a part of me thinking that what If she won't accept it, that she really see me as her best friend? That confirms that I don't see her just as a friend.

I said that I will stop it but I just can't.

"I..."

I like you so much...

"What?" She asked.

I just sighed and looked up at her. I smiled at her and shook my head.

"Nothing, let's go in my room. I want to show you something."

Not now Dahyun, you still have much time, just stay beside her, she'll see your worth.

"Dahyun."

"Why?" I asked as I opened the door of my room.

"What if... I leave?" She asked which made me stop.

"I'll hate you to death. You promised already so don't break it. I may look that it's nothing to me but I get hurt more than what you think." I said that made her smile.

"That's why I won't leave you." She giggled and entered my room first.
