I'm on my way back to the lab while I'm glancing at Y/N who's unconsciously laying in the backseat.

"I wasted months looking for you, I cannot believe it's you I was looking for," I mumbled bitterly.

Mixed emotions I am feeling right now. But I'm sure that I won't regret doing this. I do admit that Y/N became close to me especially after our confrontation but I don't have to include any emotion in here.

It's brother's life matters here.

Flashback

As I got to New York, I immediately did my purpose why I am here. My main purpose is to follow Irene since I noticed that she's acting weird these weeks.

Actually not, since she left, I told my asset to take an eye on her. And I am right, she's hiding something.

Sanhee and my brother's situation are the same situations. As of now, 100 people have this kind of illness. One of them is my brother. Until now he's still holding on. And the only thing that can help them is Kang's greatest works.

How did I know? It's because of my asset.

"Yes, Daniel is alive, I saw it with my both eyes. Believe me or not."

"Shuhua, are you really sure?"

"Of course! Do you think I will lie to you?"

I sighed in frustration as I don't know if I should believe it.

"Here's all I know, brace yourself before checking it. And also, they are planning to go back tomorrow."

"I won't ask anymore how did you get this."

"You don't have to question me Chou, as Elkie's closest friend, my loyalty is yours." She said.

"I'll leave you now, all of the files and recordings are in there. I need to stay back before anyone could know our connection." She said and left.

As expected from a daughter of the greatest detective. Shuhua is Elkie's friend and I happen to meet her years ago after I found out about the situation of my brother. Shuhua can live freely as no one knows her true identity. She doesn't even brag it to us even once.

I walked into my safe house and checked all the files from Shuhua. As I read it, it contains all the dates of Irene's arrival and when she saw Daniel, also where they live in the meantime and how helped them.

I breathed deeply and played the recorder. As I turned it, I can't believe what I am hearing.

All this time, it's Y/N.

As I arrived at the lab, I carried Y/N inside.

"Is she... the one?" Elkie asked as she saw me.

I put Y/N on the couch and nodded.

"She looks so real, I mean... a real person."

"I know, I can't believe that she's the greatest work of the Kang. The robot that we are looking for."
