Jihyo's PoV

"Wendy are you ok now?" I asked and she nodded as she helped herself to get up.

"What happened? Wait! Seulgi!"

"She escaped," Jeongyeon said that made Wendy look at her.

"Escape? with who?"

"What do you mean with whom?" I asked.

"I- I don't know, those men- no... They are planning to kill Seulgi."

"What?"

"You mean your men trying to kill seulgi?" Jeongyeon asked.

Wendy hissed as if even she can't understand it.

"All I remember is they kicked me out of the van. Before I lose my consciousness, I heard someone stopping them."

"It may be Y/N," I mumbled.

"Y/N?" Wendy asked

"We saw her in the van. When we came You are all down, including your men and Y/N's team." Jeongyeon explains

"How? How did Y/N found out?"

"That's what we wanted to ask you. We just got a call from Lucas saying they saw Y/N. Tzuyu asked them to look for her than when they saw Y/N. It happened, this happened." I said and shrugged.

I looked at Wendy and she's still confused as hell.

"I can't believe my team backstabbed me... That's why I don't trust men." She hissed.

"But what exactly happened before that?"

"Well... They tied me up and put me beside seulgi. They were asking Seulgi where is Juhyun. The last thing I know is they don't want them to find the thing."

"Thing?" Jeongyeon and I asked confusedly.

"I told you I don't know, maybe Y/N did."

Suddenly Jeongyeon snapped out, which made me do the same.

"Y/N, she's awake now?"

"I don't k-" before I could finish, she runs outside and gets in Y/N's room.

I followed her and along the way, we saw the others without Dahyun.

We stopped in front of Y/N's room and when we opened the door Y/N's is no longer there.

"Shit!"

"Where's Y/N?" I heard Mina asked.

"Where's Dahyun?" Momo asked too.

"Don't tell me they escape?"

We heard a coughing sound behind us and saw Dahyun and Y/N. What caught is they are both in handcuffs.

"We didn't," Y/N said and walk-in her bed.

Dahyun just shut her eyes and removed the handcuffs on her.

"Don't worry, I won't let Y/N escape... and I won't let her go out with full handcuffs in her hand so I put the other one to me." She said and looked at us.

Now I suddenly felt guilty about it.

"Y/N we're sorry, we just ne-"

"It's fine... You don't need to."

"Wendy woke up, she doesn't have any idea that her teammates are the snakes in the company," I said but Y/N doesn't seem surprised.

"How did you know that it will happen?" Jeongyeon asked.

Y/N remained down as she played with the cuffs.

"I got an email, it says I need to save Seulgi. It came from Juhyun."

"Why would you do that?"

Y/N came in silence again. That made me sighed.

"Guys this is not the right time to question Y/N." Dahyun butted in.

"It's ok, like what I said... I got an email from Juhyun. She said that Someone is planning to kill her. I thought Wendy is part of them but Vil said now. It was her men who are involved."

We just listened as Y/N started to state all she needs to say.

"Since first, Seulgi wanted to restart the company. On how it works and how it runs. She knows the dirty deeds of my parents that's why she conspired with Juhyun and they planned to end my parent's deed."

"What are you talking about? Now you're ruining your parents' image?" Jeongyeon asked

I know, it's kinda unbelievable since her parents are the nicest person we knew.

I just looked at Y/N and I can see her deep anger with her parents. I thought she already forgave them. But it turns out that she just buried it and it planted to the point that she's now in this point where she went to help the enemies.

"Am I protecting the wrong people? All I want is for y'all not to feel betrayed if you found out the truth. I keep telling you guys that my parents are worst but you are deaf to hear it!"

"Y/N no, it's just that it's hard for us to believe since i-"

"Because they did something good to all of you. And you saw it as a big responsibility that you should pay off as a return right? That's why you can't just believe me." She asked continuously with her trembling voice.

"Y/N stop, it's ok. I'll talk to them." Dahyun said to calm Y/N.

"No, if you want to know what I am talking about... then go to my room, I hid the flash drive that I should have surrendered before. I was just afraid that you may feel betrayed and also... you may hate me after that."

We are left dumbfounded after that. As of now we should be running out and going to the house to check the Y/N room but the guilt suddenly ate us.

Did we really go too far?

Maybe Y/N is right. We think that we owed a big thing from the Kang. I mean they helped us not just before but even today. We have fine jobs because of the company.

No, it's because of her.

We surely know that at first, we see this as a big opportunity that given by the company. And we thanked her parents for building it because if there's no Kang corporation maybe we are nothing and not together.

In the first place, we are not here if Y/N doesn't need us.

We are not in our position if Y/N didn't listen to us.

We are not together if Y/N didn't make us.

It was all because of Y/N. Not her parents of Daniel. It was her who did this to us yet we gave the honor to other people.
