Jihyo's PoV

'I'm sorry, let's just forget it.'

Hearing it repeatedly on my mind just shattered the whole me. How could I expect that after that kiss, she really mean it? That after her confession she mean it. I thought she's avoiding me for a week because she thought I would feel awkward. But why?

She just said sorry. Why did I let myself fell for her on that day? What possibly the reason that made me fall for her and expect that she really mean what she said.

Congratulations Kang Y/N, you just made me a fool.

I even tried to act like it's nothing for me so you could approach me first. For you to think that I don't feel awkward or what on what you did.

If you just know how many sleepless nights I encountered after that day. All night, staring at the ceiling, smiling like an idiot. Thinking that if you gathered your courage again, you would come up and tell it to me again.

Why do I even felt that it was all true? That you mean it, or maybe I was wrong? That I just think it that way because I'm starting to have feelings for you that day. And I'm assuming that you do the same.

What a foolish, it's really unbelievable. I fall for you just because of that day. I wished you mean it.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't want to make you cry."

I looked up and saw Y/N looking at me.

She found me...

"I-it's not your f-fault," I said and wiped my tears.

I stood up and dust off myself. I am about to go when Y/N speaks.

"Then why are you crying?" She asked.

I sighed and composed myself.

"I'm crying because it's my fault."

I shouldn't have assumed too much. Knowing that it's you, you are Kang Y/N. Opposite of Daniel, I don't even know why I just fell for you.

"I'm sorry." She said again.

I looked at her and pressed myself not to shout at her.

"I told you it wasn't y-"

"I'm sorry for leaving you that day. I know what I've done is something that I should explain. Specially we barely know what we are feeling toward each other. But I mean it."

"M-mwo?"

"T-the kiss, when I-I said I like you. I'm just overwhelmed by the feeling of nervousness. I don't know how to tell. I'm afraid that you would block me away. Because I am your boyfriend's sister." She said looking down.

"Y/N."

"I'm sorry, I just felt it. I didn't know when... I just fell it that day. I confirmed it that day. I noticed your reactions whenever I smile, laugh. I can feel your presence even from afar. I never had that before, it's something new. And I'm liking that feeling especially when it comes to you."

"If you think I played for you, I just want to clarify that I am not. I never regret the kiss or the confession. What I regret is I didn't stay there."

"S-sorry... for not meeting your expectations."

I gulped as I tried to process what she said. It's all just like that but it hits me. And then it's starting again, this feeling.

"But thank you for making me feel that my smile can be the reason for someone's smile. You made me feel that way, and I'm sorry if ever I just misunderstood it."

I didn't reply anymore. I just walk closer to her and hug her from behind.

"Gwaenchanha."

Dahyun's PoV

"Hey, how long are we staying here?" Momo asked as we keep ourselves away from Y/N and Jihyo.

Yes, I followed her. I'm about to leave with Momo since we have a task together but I saw her came out. I also saw Jihyo followed her and I'm right.

"They are cute," I mumbled.

"Jinjja? Who?" She asked as she peeks on the car's window.

I closed it before she could see. She didn't know that we go here just to follow Y/N.

"Are you ok?" Momo asked.

"Yeah, fine," I said and smiled.

"I don't think so, it's like you saw Y/N with someone else." She said that made me chuckles bitterly.

"Let's go, we have to finish our task."

"Ok." She said and started to drive again.

Along the way, the only thing I'm thinking is what I saw a while ago. Jihyo unnie hugged Y/N. Did she like Y/N too?

"Momo."

"Hmm?"

"You spent time with Jihyo unnie mostly right?" I asked.

"Ah in terms of tasks, yes."

"Do she ever mentioned someone whenever you guys are together? Acts weird or what?"

Momo thinks and nods.

"This past week, she did. Smiles a lot, Nayeon also said that every night she can hear Jihyo squealing. But before that... hmm, she's out of herself."

"Out of herself?"

"Yeah, I mean, a good out of herself. She smiled then stopped. Starting to hiss seems she's thinking of something. But then just last week, she smiled a lot."

"Oh."

"Why?"

"Nothing, I'm just thinking if she already moved on over Daniel Oppa."

"Don't worry too much, I think she did. Y/N helped her tho."

"Huh?"

"Whenever they went out, Jihyo said that Y/N is helping her to cope with it. I guess Y/N is doing the right thing."

That's why.

"Anyway, Momo... I know this is too much but I told Y/N that we are hanging out." I said that made Momo hit the brake.

"What!?"

"I-I mean... I think she's worried. So I just said that."

"Why?"

"I... I think she already like someone. She has no one to ask with instead of me. And she feels uncomfortable to open up to me because I confessed to her that I like her."

"Oh."

"So I told her that I don't have feelings for her anymore. So she could open up to me freely without thinking of what I will feel. On that way, I can make sure if she's in good hand." I mumbled.

"You're really her best friend, you are both crazies."

I just smiled and looked outside.

I will only accept and let down this feeling if I made sure that she's in good. She deserves better. If it's not me then who am I to be selfish.
