Blaine glanced up at the clock then back down at his history final, sighing when he realized he still had 10 more questions to go. He didn't even understand half the questions considering he didn't even remember learning any of this stuff. He glanced around the classroom noting that there was only him and another student there still doing it. Kurt had been gone a long time ago.
Having finished the questions as quickly as possible with Santana and Quinn both following, but Brittany was still in with him. Only him and Brittany left, and he could tell she was just as confused as he was. He figured he'd better answer quick before he didn't get to finish the test and then it'd be considered incomplete.
Quickly circling the rest of the multiple choice answers and handing the paper off to Mr Schuester he hurried out of the classroom and down the hallway, going to grab his textbook and novel for English, so he could get a bit of studying done before his English final that afternoon. He knew it was unusual for a boy like him to be so concerned with his grades but he wanted to get the hell out of there.
He had been studying non-stop for the last couple of weeks, he barely even saw Kurt which he figured probably had something to do with cheerleading nationals coming up and Coach Sylvester practically breathing down their necks everyday all day. But he also knew he was semi avoiding him, because as much as he was happy for Kurt to go to New York, he was a little nervous considering he was expected to follow after him.
He wasn't paying any attention to his surroundings until he bumped someone and their things fell down. He frowned glancing at the student, eyes widening when he noticed his boyfriend knelt down picking up books.
"Oh god, I'm sorry babe, I didn't see you." Blaine apologized kneeling down beside him and helping collect his books.
"It's okay." Kurt smiled lightly as they both stood up to stare at each other. Blaine smiled back. "I was actually just looking for you."
"How was the rest do you think?" Blaine questioned.
Kurt smiled. "Great! I think I did good. And you?"
"Good. I hope." Blaine chuckled nervously. "Anyway what were you wanting to come find me for?"
Kurt suddenly was grinning, practically bouncing on his feet excitedly which made Blaine think about how cute his boyfriend was. "I got a letter."
"A letter?" Blaine asked.
"A letter. I sent in a college application to New York remember?" Kurt said.
Blaine nodded. "Of course I do."
"Well. I wanted to come find you so I could open my letter with you. On whether I'm accepted or not."
"Oh right. Well go on, what are you waiting for?"
Kurt bit his lip nodding his head, his hands shaking only slightly as he tore open the letter, from Fashion institute of technology. Blaine could see his eyes scanning quickly over the letter until they got to the bottom.
"So?"
"I got in!!" Kurt squealed. "I got in!! Oh my god Blaine!! I got in!"
Blaine grinned, dragging his boyfriend into a hug. "I'm so proud of you Kurt! I knew you could do it."
"Thank you." He whispered softly against his cheek. Blaine smiled squeezing him a little extra tight.
"Of course." Blaine nodded both pulling back from each other. "I guess I have some news to tell you too."
Kurt looked up at him lips pursed together. "What is it?"
"I think I want to become a teacher." Blaine answered.
