Graduation Day,

The most important day of your lifetime. The day where you leave high school, and some of the friends you have known since kindergarten. The teachers you see in the hallways everyday. Suddenly it's the last day, and you wish time would stand still so you could savour in the moment of graduating forever, before you become an adult and learn responsibilities. Some students you'll never seen ever again. Some you'll see everyday. Some will never change, or move from their hometown, while others will move away and never look back.

But you've longed for this day. Dreamt of your graduation day, dreamt of what your future would be like, whether you'd be married, or have kids by twenty-five or even thirty. Wishing and hoping.

Except Blaine.

Blaine had wished for this day long before he was a teenager. Except this time he had to wait for another year before he could graduate. Meanwhile his friends and boyfriend moved hours away from him. Except Brittany. Apparently Brittany hadn't passed or graduated. Blaine was thankful he would have her. He had also heard a new boy was moving to McKinley, and Blaine was intrigued by this news.

"Blaine? Hello? Anybody in there?"

Blaine blinked his eyes confused before turning to the voice, surprised to see Kurt in front of him. "Sorry- What?"

"Your kinda far in space, I just wanted to make sure you were alright?"

"Of course I'm alright. It's your graduation day. This day is all about you."

"I know. I just want to make sure your okay." Kurt smiled kissing his cheek. "I need to go find my spot, but I'll see you after right?"

"Right." Blaine nodded. "I'll be with Cooper, and your parents!"

Kurt smiled, blushing lightly when Blaine winked at him, Kurt quickly turned away rushing towards the back stage to get into his spot. Blaine smiled slightly before going to find his spot in the crowd of people. He was proud of his boyfriend. He just wished that was him up there with him too.

The speaker stood up to the podium, after each individual student walked onto the stage to gather their diplomas. "Congratulations Graduates! Today is a great day. It's a day to celebrate with your families and friends. A day you've been waiting for since you entered kindergarten so long ago." She paused. "For some of you, you can't wait to get out of here and into the future. For many others of you, high school graduation is just the next step in your education. Headed to university, college- preparing for the next step in a career you might pursue. Don't forget to dream big, to follow your goals in life no matter how small you think they are. Let us take on new problems with confidence, knowing that we have achieved accomplishments. Congratulations once again." She smiled looking at the class. "To the class of 2014!!"

Their was laughter, and cheering, clapping from the crowds, hugging from the friends on the stage, happy tears rolling down their faces. Sad tears leaving streaks on there faces. Excitement filling the room. And most importantly proudness, that they graduated.

The cheerleaders managed to finish first in Nationals. Which Sylvester was happy of, and proud despite not ever telling them. Kurt and the girls had been ecstatic, for winning in their last year. Proud of themselves that they accomplished such a huge goal. Despite it having been held in Columbus high school. In twenty-five teams, they had ranked first place.

That night Kurt was moving to New York. His bags all packed and ready to go. His passport and plane tickets in his hand. With a tearful father in front of him who seemed to be quite worried considering he kept on asking him if he was sure he had everything, he practically hugged him every five minutes, attempting to discreetly cover up his tears. His boyfriend was in front of him, hiding any emotions that he was upset or angry or anything. Which had made Kurt slightly nervous knowing he was leaving his boyfriend. But they had promised each other that they could do long distance.

"So you have everything right Kurt?" Burt asked for the tenth time.

"Yes Dad. I promise." Kurt replied holding back from rolling his eyes at him.

"Good. And you have your plane tickets? And your meeting the girls and Finn there right?"

"Yes and yes." Kurt nodded. "Stop worrying about me, I'll be okay, I promise. I'll call you once a day remember?"

"I know I know." Burt said hastily. "I just worry, I'm your dad I'm supposed too."

Kurt smiled pulling his dad into another hug whispering into his ear. "Please check on Blaine for me."

"Of course." Burt smiled. "I'll leave you two alone now." He turned around heading back outside. He turned around to look at Blaine. "I'll be waiting in the car for you Blaine!!"

Kurt turned to Blaine. "Are you sure you'll be fine?"

"I will be. I promise." Blaine replied. "More importantly will you be okay?"

Kurt scoffed playfully. "Of course I will be."

"I don't want you to miss your flight."

"I don't either. Come on." Kurt smiled pulling his boyfriend into a hug who immediately reciprocated it. "I'm going to miss you."

"I'm going to miss you too." Blaine muttered against Kurt's hair. Kurt blushed.

"I love you." He mumbled.

Blaine's eyes widened but he tightened his grip more. "I-I love you too." They both pulled away to look at each other. "Call me when you get there?"

Kurt nodded. "I better go now. I'll call you when I land promise. And remember it's only a couple weeks until your birthday and you'll be flying here."

Blaine nodded. "Bye Kurt."

"No Blaine." Kurt said sternly. "See you later Blaine."

Blaine rolled his eyes chuckling. "Love you butterfingers!!"

"I hate you!!"

"You love me!!"

And then Kurt disappeared through security and Blaine was left with a hollow feeling in his stomach as he turned around to join Burt in the vehicle. Only a couple weeks that's all. He could do it.

When Kurt arrived in New York he called Blaine immediately letting him know that he landed and was safe, they hung up shortly after though, and Kurt was greeted by his friends. They had arrived only a couple hours earlier than him.

They all were currently rooming together in a loft until Quinn and Finn managed to find there own apartment. But until then they were sleeping in the loft as well. The first few days of being in New York, consisted of Kurt and Santana going to some broadway shows and touring New York City. They had even met up with Sebastian and Adam a couple times, but Santana had been with him both times.

Kurt had never been more excited to live somewhere. He couldn't wait until his boyfriend lived their with him.
