The second I hit the bridge of my territory,  my pack mates surrounded me. It had been months since I've last seen them. The first two people I saw were my brothers.  Who immediately  pushed their alpha influence on me.

Anias Jaxon Marconi-Royal if you EVER in your immortal life leave us like you did then we will bury you in the pits of hell for a thousand years until you learn your place!

My place? I snarled at them and pushed them off with my mind. They landed against a tree and fell to the ground. They were barely hurt so I didn't feel that bad.

My place? My fucking place? No my place is where I choose it to be. Where I want it to be. That alpha bullshit may have used to work on me years ago but not today. Not ever again. Don't ever try to use your influence on me again or I will rip every feather off your wings!

I was pissed the hell off. I knew my eyes changed. The boys cowered and submitted.  The pack also submitted but I thought nothing of it. I just wanted to get back to my pup.

Look I'm sorry but don't tell me of my place. I know my place. I'm going home. I left them standing there dumbfounded before taking off to the house. I could hear them behind me but I paid them no mind.

I howled around a mile from the pack and I could feel Hazel scampering to get Acacia and Gracie  outside.  I stopped  running and walked up to the house.

There they were. My family. Hazel ran towards me and I shifted back to my human form bafore I caught her.

" Mom!  You're back!" She wiggled in my arms in excitement and I laughed before jumping up in the air and letting my wings come out for a second. She loved to fly.

I soared the sky before landing again. Her little heart was beating and I nuzzled  her face.

"We're you good?" She nodded vigorously.

"Yep. Acacia and Elocin took turns taking care of me." Elocin and Acacia.  I have to speak with them.

"Anias?" A whisper came from over Hazel's head. I looked up to see Acacia with Gracie in her arms. She looked like she was on the verge of tears. I cradled Hazel in my arms and walked up to her.

She held one arm out for a hug and I did the same. I could feel her smell me in contentment. My wolf rumbles in pleasure and she took my mouth over and yipped.

Acacia looked at me and started to laugh. Not a giggle but a full belly hurting laugh. I growled at her slightly but she didn't stop. Mommy had the same problem and apparently passed it onto me.

"Shut up" but she still laughed.  So I shut her up. By kissing her. It was like fireworks went off in my brain and tingles shot from her lips to mine. I moaned into her mouth when she kissed me back. I was hyperaware of her body and my wolf. Both were calling to me to mate with Acacia.  But then someone snarled behind Acacia and I looked up to find  Elocin glaring at us before she shifted and ran off into the woods.
