I don't know what happened. All I remember is Acacia telling me that she was raped by that scumbag,  then nothing. Now there are trees and animals all around me. Some animals looked barely recognizable. Some trees were burnt and shredded.

I could feel Hazel but she wasn't near me. Or in the same state. Neither was Acacia or Gracie.  They were back at my home. On pack lands.

Haze? I could feel her freeze.

Saina? Are you ok? She asked. I could feel her hesitation and a little fear.

Yeah I'm fine baby. But do you know what happened?

I don't know.  All I remenber is hearing Ma growl and a few minutes later, Ma, Gracie and I were on pack grounds.

Whose ma? She giggled.

Acacia silly. Your my mommy, and so is she. And Gracie is my sister.  Oh wait. That's not for a little longer. I think. Oops.

A what? So are you saying that I'm mates with Acacia?  And how would you know this? She had me confused and my wolf giddy as hell.

I'm a seer. And since I'm your daughter, I'm technically Fates great-granddaughter.  So I'm a little more powerful than most seers.

Ok I have a headache now. Ok I'll see you in a few hours. I think I'm gonna run home instead of just appearing there.

Ok Saina.  I'll see you later.  But you better hurry. Ma misses you. And with that, she dropped the connection

Acacia is my mate. But I thought? Elocin?  I'm gonna have to see Nana Fate like now.

"What's wrong Nias? A bit confused?" I huff and turn to see Nana Fate behind me. I glared at her and then walked up to her. She reached up and patted my head. In wolf form,  I'm taller than most humans.

What's going on Nana?  Everything
is strange? I have feelings for Cacia but Elocin is my mate? A-And o don't know if I'm ready to be a mom, or what I'm doing.  On top of that, I've been weird. Anyone who makes eye contact with me, I take it as a challenge. And I feel strange. As if I have something new or more inside me but I can't figure it out! What's wrong with me?!

Nana smiled softly and kissed my muzzle.

"There's nothing wrong with you.  This is just something that needs to happen. And I can't help you. I would love to but I can't.  Not yet.  Your not ready. But what I can tell you is that you need to adopt Hazel as soon as possible.  Trust me on that one. As for the mate thing, you will figure this out.  I wouldn't let you go through this without some kind of help."

She raised her hand to her mouth and whistled. A deep rumble shook the earth and then a gush of wind lifted us up in the air. I almost freaked out but Nana calmed me down. Even though I'm part angel,  I hate flying. I'm afraid of heights.

We dissapeared through the clouds and then we saw a portal. I smiled. I knew whose portal that was. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

Portals have this way to make you feel like nothing and everything at once. It feels like your being turn apart while your body goes numb. You can feel everything and feel nothing.

Being in a portal takes only seconds but it feels like eons. That's why portals are so random and appear to most supernatural or humans who can handle it. They can keep you forever, moving between world's or spit you out into a new undiscovered relme. That's what happens to most humans who have conspiracy theories.  Portals.

Finally the portal spit us out in front of the heaven gates. The golden bars weaving into eachother with golden roses at random places. The Heaven Gates opened into what most humans looked to when they died and my brother was it's guardian.

It may seem like a unfortunate job that one of us Marconi-Royals got stuck with but it's much more than that. Since my brother and sister were the children of the Nemean lion and Kali goddess of time, they were extremely important and powerful.

The Nemean lion was the first lion were in existence.  All animals that have a Were subspecies have a beginning.  We didn't just pop up. We evolved and became who we are from our ancestors.

"Sister." I turned and saw my brother in his lion form. Ever since he became the Guardian of the Gates, he only got bigger and more magnificent.  His fur shone like the sun. He just looked like what he was. A god.

"Brother." I nodded to him. He took a deep breath and shifted back to his human form. He was taller than I remembered. Not even my brothers are as tall as him and those two are tall.

He spread his arms and I ran into them. My brother and I are not the closest nut we have a deeper understanding for eachother than we do of our other siblings.

He nuzzle my face and blew. Being a guardian,  he has his way of calming souls.  Espically conflicted ones like me. I calmed down and there was a weight that just lifted off my shoulders. It was like I had all the answers. The solutions.

Is this what you needed sister? He asked me and I nodded.  I knew what I needed to do.

Yes. Thank you brother.  You just gave me the answers.

He shook his head. No you had the answers.  You just needed to be clear of your doubts and fears. I shook my head and giggled

"Is this what being half Nemean lion and son ok Kali does? Makes you all knowing? " He chuckled.

" No but it does help." We both chuckled.  He looked past me and walked over to Nana.  She smiled and hugged him. I felt my chest constrict and a soul popped up right next to me.

I gasped. It was a little girl. About Hazel's age. She looked so scared and confused.  Then another soul appeared next to her. Around the same age. They looked at eachother and clung to eachother.

Micah left our grandmother's arms and went to the little girls. He smiles and reached for them. They hesitantly let him pick them up. He smiled at them and kissed their foreheads.  He sent a smile towards us but I could see it was forced. He had tears in his eyes.

He turned to walk off towards the gated and I gasped. There in the back of the little girls heads were bullet holes. They were murdered.

I looked back to my Nana and she smiled sadly. The portal reopened and we walked to it. A soft call was heard behind me and I looked to see the girls waving at me. They looked happy. On the other side of the gates I saw children waving at me also before I stepped into the portal and they dissapeared from my sight.

The portal spit me back out in the forest.  Nana wasn't by my side but that was ok. I knew what I had to do. I shifted and started running home.

Home to my daughter and my mate.
