"When are you going to officially adopt Haze? "Mom asked me as we watched over Hazel play at the park. For a Were, she sure did love humans.
"What?" I asked her and she giggled a bit before putting her serious face back on.
"Come. Let's take a walk." I nodded my head and turned to get Haze before my mom stopped me.
"Let her play."
"But mom she will be alone and there are most likely perverts around." I said and tried to go get Haze again before she stopped me again.
"We are not going far baby. She will still be in out sight and I've already put protection over the park warding off any danger. She will be fine." I looked around the park a few more times and let my wolf search too. There was no immediate danger and I trust my mom.
"Ok let's go. Just let me tell her that we are going for a walk so she doesn't have a panic attack. She has those sometimes." Mom nodded and I called Haze through our link.
She stopped chasing this little girl and looked at me.
Haze, me and my mom are going for a walk. We won't be far and you can still see us. Will you be ok?
Yeah go ahead Saina. I'll be ok. If anything goes wrong I'll come find you.
Ok. Be safe. I willed a kiss on her forehead and she smiled before running after the waiting girl. I took one last look around the park before going with my mother.
We walked for a bit before she made any attempt to talk. Honestly the silence was killing me.
"Wait mom before you start talking, how did you find me? I mean you did teach us how to cloak ourselves even from you so how?" She smirked.
"Every ability has a weakness. Even natural abilities. You all had the ability to cloak yourselves but you needed a teacher. You were taught this ability. It didn't come natural. Plus I kinda made you guys put your own little backdoor in your cloak." She admitted.
"Backdoor?"
"Yeah. Each of you have to think of a strong, powerful memory right? Well these memories give off a certain scent. Weather it's fear, love, anger, hatred. There's always a scent. But you cloaked yourself at random times that it was hard to find you immediatly."
Oh. That kinda makes sense.
"Cool. Now what did you have to talk to me about?" Mom sniggered.
"You get that no bullshit attitude from your mother." I giggled.
"You are my mother." She gave me the 'no shit' look.
"I meant your other mother."
"I know. But tell me now." She gave me a look and I corrected myself. "Please."
"Are you going to adopt Hazel? Not have fake documents in the human world but adopt her in our way." I flinched. Micah and Seff told us about the time that our moms adopted them. They said that when you bind your souls together with anothers, it is highly painful.
"I love Haze and I do think of her as my daughter. It's just that I don't want her to remember it. The pain. You adopted Micah and Seff when they were two and they still remember. Hazel's second birthday is three months from now. I just don't want her to feel pain." I said and looked over to the park to find Hazel having a tea party. Silly pup.
"She's your daughter Nai. You know it. I know it. She knows it. She cried everyday that week that you were gone when you went to Rome. She used to sleep in your bed just so she can feel better when she wasn't feeling well. She cried when you didn't take her on her first run. You know that she is your daughter. Adopt her. Make it more real for the both of you."
