Jacqueline Diana
I know you're angry
Babydoll, I can tell,
I'm really sorry,
Sorry for this hell.
You pretend you're okay,
You put on that smile,
But you say today's the day,
And you've been planning for awhile,
I know I've given you grief,
But I love you,
And life without you wouldn't be relief,
I want you to know, I understand what you're going through
You're not the burden that you see,
But a gift,
Especially to me,
And, I know this isn't something I can just lift
But, I have to try,
You need to know that I care,
And I can't lie,
I wouldn't be able to go on without you there
So before you do it,
Before you take your life,
Do me this last bit,
Put down that knife
Listen to me,
Hear what I have to say,
Learn what I see,
Today is not the day
You're a tough one,
You'll win this fight,
This will be a battle you've won,
You'll make it through the night
I hope you always know,
You're my best friend,
and you deserve to grow,
This can't be the end
Don't let go,
Don't give in,
Let your genuine smile show,
Don't say goodbye, my dear Jacqueline
