The next morning Lyra and Kaia made their way to the common room to meet up with Astor before breakfast.

They weren't surprised to see him stumble through the common room door in yesterday's clothes and tousled hair.

"Good morning, ladies." Astor blew them each a kiss as he passed, heading towards his dorm room to change.

The girls took a seat on the couches. Knowing Astor, they would be waiting for a while. Kaia grabbed one of Lyra's legs, pulled out a permanent ink quill and started doodling on her bare flesh.

Kaia was midway through her drawing of a serpent heading towards Lyra's thigh when Draco entered the common room flanked by Blaise and Theo.

Lyra saw both Theo and Blaise's eyes travel up her leg, likely admiring Kaia's handy work.

"Hey Harpie." Draco tousled Lyra's hair. That was another nickname Lyra hated and only allowed her brother to use. As per Black family tradition Lyra was named after a constellation, the constellation Lyra was a harp and thus Draco coined 'Harpie'.

"Hey Coco." Lyra replied, using her own special nickname for Draco.

"I've got to go, I'll meet you in the Great Hall." Blaise said, eyes still stuck on the head of the serpent that rested just below the hem of Lyra's skirt.

He tore his eyes away and rushed out of the Great Hall.

"What's his deal?" Kaia asked.

"No idea." Theo shrugged, plopping down on the couch next to Lyra. "We missed you last night, Mini."

"Where were you?" Draco asked, staring into her eyes intently. Lyra didn't realize the absence of her presence was such a big deal, especially since Draco had made it clear he didn't want her there.

"I was really tired." Lyra lied.

Draco's eyes narrowed. He could tell when his sister was hiding the truth, they had the exact same tells.

"You're lying." He called her out.

"I'm not!" She insisted, her eyes flickered to the left.

"You are. Where were you?"

"I was in my dorm."

"Alone?"

"Obviously not, Kaia was there." Lyra looked over at Kaia who nodded in confirmation.

"Just Kaia?" Draco pressed.

Lyra finally realized what Draco was going on about.

"For Salazar's sake, yes I was alone. There were no wizards in my room." She glowered at him. In her peripherals she could see Theo shaking as he chuckled silently.

"I'm just making sure. I don't want you involved in any... illicit activities, Lyra."

Lyra cheeks turned red, she was torn between feeling embarrassed and fuming with anger. She was so sick of Draco being controlling but she also knew he was like this because he loved her.

Fortunately, Astor chose that moment to come out of the dorms, preventing Lyra from going off on her brother.

"Let's just go eat." Lyra sighed, trying to calm herself. She stood up and linked her arms with her two friends. She dragged them out of the common room while Theo and Draco followed right behind.

The group was stopped dead in their tracks the second they stepped through the exit.

Blaise was standing right outside with his lips pressed against the lips of Tracey Davis, a Slytherin girl in his year that was extremely gorgeous but also an extreme airhead. Her back was pressed up against the wall and her small hands were gripping his jaw. One of Blaise's hands was gripping the back of her thigh, just below the hem of her uniform skirt. His other hand was on her hip, pushing her deeper into the wall.
