"You should be sent to Azkaban for that."

Lyra looked up to see Blaise staring at her with absolute repulsion plastered on his face. She was completely taken aback, not just because of his statement but also because after an entire month, those were the first words he had chosen to speak to her.

Everyone else sitting with them at their table in the Great Hall turned to look at what Blaise was going on about.

"Pizza is not meant to be eaten with a knife and fork." Blaise continued on. "That's just not right."

"It's horrific right!" Kaia agreed, she complained to Lyra about her methods every time they had pizza together.

"She does the same with Burgers and sandwiches too." Astor added, chuckling at Blaise's face.

"She gets it from our mother, it's the 'ladylike' way to eat." explained Draco as he shoved a piece in his mouth.

"I don't want to make a mess." Lyra muttered, still shocked and slightly embarrassed. Blaise grinned at her and she could see the slight glimmer in his dark mocha eyes.

"Yeah, she doesn't want tomato sauce smeared all around her face like yours." Pansy snickered at Blaise. He swiped at his face self continuously while the group of Slytherins all laughed at his expense. Pansy reached over and wiped the sauce with her manucured thumb, a prick of jealousy rose within Lyra.

As Lyra picked up her knife to take another bite, she suddenly felt self conscious. She could feel Blaze's eyes still watching her. Instead of cutting down on her slice she put down the cutlery and grabbed the soft crust.

She lifted the slice towards her mouth and took a small bite. Almost immediately Blaise's face morphed into a wide grin. Lyra decided that she would eat everything with her hands if it meant she would get to see him smiling at her.

"Of course once Blaise says something you switch it up." Kaia rolled her eyes then froze, realizing she had messed up.

Lyra glanced down at the table, trying to not react.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Draco asked, staring directly into Kaia's dark eyes.

"Well because he's a man, witches are always doing what men tell them to do." Kaia replied, trying to save herself from being murdered in her sleep by her roommate.

Draco scoffed and returned to eating his pizza but Pansy, who knew better, was watching Lyra carefully.

Later that afternoon was the first Quidditch game of the season.

Lyra sat wedged between Kaia and Astor on the stands, shivering as the harsh wind blew around them. Both witches sported green and silver face paint along with their stripped house scarves and mitts. Astor, on the other hand, had his face painted to look like a lion and had adorned a crimson and gold scarf.

"Ginny looks so damn fit in those robes." Astor was practically drooling as he watched his unofficial girlfriend chase Blaise for the Quaffle.

Lyra didn't respond. Her eyes were locked on Blaise and she was nearly on the edge of the seat hoping that he would be able to send the Quaffle through the hoop before Ginny caught up.

"Are you even watching, Kai?" Astor asked, throwing a glance at his mate before turning back to watch the game.

"Mhm." Kaia mumbled, obviously lying. Her focus was entirely on her sketch pad as she penciled out a lovely drawing of the Quidditch pitch.
