2- Confession

"Your lips are balloons." Kaia chortled as she took a seat on a black leather couch.

After arriving at Hogwarts the group had gone to the Welcome Back Feast then retreated to Slytherin Common room to digest.

Astor looked up from his seat on the ground. His lips were indeed swollen and red from the incessant snogging during the train ride. Ginny's lipstick was still smeared all around his mouth and it looked like he had an allergic reaction to something.

"You just wish your lips were as lucious as mine." He replied, puckering his lips at her.

"You're delusional." Kaia scoffed.

"All that snogging is preventing oxygen from reaching your brain." Lyra added, earning a snicker from Kaia. She sat on the opposite end of the couch and instantly Kaia's feet were propped in her lap.

"Aw, your jealousy is cute girls." Astor's puffed lips curled into an arrogant smirk. "You'll find someone of your own to snog soon, don't worry."

Disgust washed over Kaia's face. "I'd rather not." She fake gagged.

Lyra's mind instantly drifted towards Blaise and his plush crimson lips. She melted inside as she thought about the way they had felt against her lips, as one of his hands firmly gripped her jaw and the other gripped her waist, pulling their bodies together.

"Uh oh, Lyra's in Zabini Land." Astor pulled Lyra out of her fantasy.

Both her friends knew about her little crush on Blaise and constantly teased her about it. But Lyra hadn't told either of them about their sneaky link over the summer. She wanted to wait to tell them in person, but after Blaise had barely spoken two words to her she had been apprehensive about telling them.

"When are you just going to confess your love? It's been four years for Salazar's sake." Kaia sighed with dramatized exasperation.

Lyra's face contorted through a series of expressions as she attempted to conceal the guilty look on her face.

"Little Miss Malfoy has a secret." Kaia immediately noticed. After six years of friendship, neither witch could hide a single secret from the other.

"You told him, didn't you?" Astor had turned around so he was completely facing the girls, excitement glowed in his eyes.

"Well actually..." Lyra bit her lip and felt her cheeks fill with warmth.

"No." Kaia's eyes went wide.

"No." Astor's mouth dropped.

"You didn't..."

"Don't tell me you..."

Lyra gave them a little nod.

"I slept with him." She whispered.

"Oh. My. Merlin." Kaia moved so she was right next to Lyra. "How? When? Why?"

"Um, well he had been staying with us for a week while his mother was away on business and one night Draco had snuck out to meet some witch, so it was just the two of us. We were just hanging out and then all of a sudden his face was just inches away from mine and we kissed, and then it was more than kissing."

"Holy Shit. No way." Astor was still in disbelief.

"We ended up back in my room and things just kept progressing." Lyra told them, still blushing.

"Lyra, I cannot believe the lad you have fancied for YEARS kissed you and shagged you and you are just now telling me about it." Kaia fanned her face as if the information she had just been told was too much to handle.
