"Really? There's still another page?"
Just a regular Friday night may Peter Parker's house, my best friend. And of course we got a ton of homework to finish over the weekend and Peters way smarter than me, so sometimes I need a little help from him.

I only live across the hall from Peter at our apartment block so we are pretty close. We're best friends. We just kind of get each other. Like we are both kind of quiet and aren't popular with not much friends. I'm not very confident and I find it hard to truely be myself around people. We both got bullied when we were younger and know what it's like to be hurt and find it hard to open up to people.

But when it's us, I know I can be myself around him. And he can be hisself around me. We tell each other everything. He really is a great guy though and actually kind of cute which is the only thing I kind of don't get about him. He's so charming and goofy yet has never had a girlfriend.

Anyways let's get back to now.

"Yes Y/N it's another page but it's the last one then we're done for the weekend." Peter says while grabbing a handful of Doritos and tossing me the packet.

"Ok but can't we take a break? We've been at it for hours and I still don't know how to work this out." I whine to him.

He looks up at me from the floor, "ok then come down here," he gestures to next to him on the floor. "And we can work it out together."

Slowly, I make my way to the floor and place myself next to Peter. I lay on my stomach mimicking his actions so that I can see his work better.

Carefully he takes my sheet from my hand and studies it. "Ok so you did the first part of the equation right, the second part was where you went wrong." Peter looks into my eyes while talking before carelessly running his hand through his hair then grabs his pencil and looks back down at my sheet to explain it too me.

I always forget how adorable Peter Parker is when he's concentrating. I get lost in my thoughts from staring at his brown eyes that remind me of woods, so dark and mysterious, you can get lost in them so easily.

He looks up at me again from the page before quickly looking back down then straight into my soul.
He must have felt me staring at him very intensely, not on purpose of course, because he stops talking and stares deeply back at me.

He puts down the paper and pencil and turns his body more towards me.

A slight smile tugged at his lips along with a tint of pink in his cheeks.
Slowly he brings his hand up to my face as if waiting to see if I would wonder what he's doing. He brings it to tuck a strand of hair behind my ear and his soft touch gives me butterflies.

He brings his hand down and leans on his elbows again but still not taking his eyes off mine.

I've never seen this side to Peter before, because we've always been friends we've never really had a moment like this.

His eyes flick down to my lips then quickly back to my eyes. Was he thinking of kissing me. Suddenly all Peters features look like they've softened, his face has a really kind, adorable look to it.

Peter swallows before almost whispering "I've never kissed anyone before." He searches my face for an answer.

I give a shy smile and reply with, "me either."

This time I look down at his lips because now I'm the one thinking of kissing him.

He holds eye contact with me and lets out a nervous little laugh. "I don't know how to kiss someone, but I want to, right now." He takes in a sharp breath.

"Maybe, we can work it out together" I reply.

Slowly we've made our way closer to each other and I can feel his breath on my lips. I reach my hand up to cup his cheek before his lips crash into mine, soft and careful. We pull apart and look back at each other, both of us kind of in shock of how we enjoyed it, and how it just felt right.

A/N:
