As the bell rang for her last class, Yuri walked out of the lesson and to her locker.

"Yuri," she heard a voice from behind her, startling her. Turning around, she was standing only a few feet away from Heeseung. "Is everything alright?"

Yuri's lips parted a little, but no words came out. "Uhmm—" "I saw you crying back there. Was it because of me?" He asked, inching closer as Yuri took a step backward, her back almost hitting the locker.

"Oh," she looked away, biting her lips. "I'm fine, it's nothing. Oh, no. No, it wasn't because of you," she smiled, and Heeseung sighed, putting on a smile too.

"Okay, that's good to hear." He chuckled, and she smiled nervously. "Anyways, uh..." he trailed off, and Yuri looked up, meeting his beautiful brown eyes.

"I-is something w-wrong?" Yuri asked, tilting her head a little.

"Huh? No, no. I-it's just..." he licked his lips, staring nervously into Yuri's eyes. "I've just got a lot on my mind lately," he confessed, chuckling lightly.

"Oh," Yuri nodded slowly, pursing her lips.

Gulping down his nervousness, he cleared his throat and looked at her again. "Are y-you f-free t-this evening?"

Yuri suddenly looked up at Heeseung with burning red cheeks. She also noticed Heeseung's ears turn a reddish hue.

"Uhm, I-I think so..." she bit her lips, and Heeseung blushed.

"Can I-I take y-you out for dinner, t-then?"

"Y-yeah, I'd love that."

"Great," he smiled happily. "I'll pick you up at seven?" He asked, and Yuri nodded eagerly. "A casual something would do," he bowed to her and then walked to his locker.

That evening, at seven on the dot, Heeseung was at Yuri's doorstep. Taking a deep breath in and one out, he rang the doorbell, holding a bouquet of beautiful flowers in his hand.

The door opened, and a boy stood there wearing nothing but sweatpants hanging loosely by his hip.

"Ji! Go put something on, stupid!" He heard Yuri's voice and instantly lit up, a smile taking over his features.

"Hey," he greeted her as she made her way to the door. And when he noticed what she was wearing, his lips parted, and his eyes glistened with delight.

She sported casual blue denim jeans ripped at her knees and thighs. She wore a white tank top with an olive green jacket on top.

"Hi. I'm sorry, it ain't much, I know—" "No, no. You look beautiful," Heeseung interrupted her, and she blushed, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Bye, sis! Take care, and don't forget to use protection!" They heard her brother yell, and Yuri's eyes widened as Heeseung blushed, clearing his throat in embarrassment.

"Ji, I will kill you when I come back," she turned around and muttered to him as he simply chuckled in return.

"Ready to go?" Heeseung asked as he handed the bouquet to her. She smiled and hummed as she took it from him, thanking him softly.

Every minute that passed that night, Yuri's anxiety reached great heights, and Heeseung's thoughts about 'Jisung' died down.

After a date of three long hours going places and having fun, the two of them were finally back at Yuri's doorstep.

"So... that was fun. I-I mean, I had fun." Yuri chuckled, fiddling with her fingers.

Wasn't this the time when the guy kisses the girl in most fanfictions and Hollywood movies? At the girl's doorstep after a date, when the guy drops her off home.

"I'm glad you did," Heeseung laughed. "This was my first time taking a girl out on a date."

"Oh, so should I consider myself a lucky girl?" Yuri teased, and Heeseung chuckled shyly.

He walked closer to her form as she looked up with expectant eyes. He slowly placed his hand on the wall behind Yuri, tilting his head to lean down to her level, his breath ghosting her lips.

"I'm the one who's lucky, Yuri."

He leaned in, and Yuri closed her eyes, awaiting their lips to touch.

But, of course, they had to be interrupted.

Yuri's front door swung open, and Jisung stood there wearing a casual white shirt and black jeans.

"Oh, my God, Yuri! You're here! Thank God— oh," he noticed Heeseung, who was biting his lips for being interrupted.

"You are so dead," Yuri mouthed to Jisung, who grimaced, mumbling an apology.

"I'm sorry, hyung. Our parents are pretty strict, and they're on their way here right now," he apologized, bowing to him repeatedly. "Yuri," he called out to her softly, and she nodded as he went back inside.

"Umm, sorry. I guess I've g-gotta go—"

"No, no, don't apologize. I had so much fun tonight, thanks to you, Yuri. I'll see you tomorrow, then." He smiled, and she nodded. She quickly leaned in and kissed his cheek, and ran inside the house, waving at him shyly. He stood there, his cheeks flaring.

"Wow. That girl really is something," Heeseung chuckled to himself as he happily went back to their dorms.
