"Obviously, I said yes!"
Hana giggled as she sat on Yuri's bed, munching on potato chips. It was three-quarters-past eleven in the night, and the two girls were having fun get along while Yuri's parents were out of town.
Today was two weeks after Yuri's secret had been revealed. Yuri and Heeseung had talked over their differences, and all their friends had finally figured out that Yuri was, in fact, the guy Heeseung had been texting nonstop.
"So, what are your date plans for tomorrow?" Hana asked, her mouth stuffed. "Whatever it is, don't forget to use protection," she snickered, and Yuri smacked the back of her head with a blush on her cheeks.
"Eww, nasty human. Shut up, and stuff yourself, birthday girl." She cringed, sitting down next to her best friend. "I don't know what he's got planned for tomorrow, but he told me to wear something 'semi-fancy' if that's a word," she chuckled.
"Hmm, it's obviously easier to rip off than fancy gowns and stuff, maybe that's why." Hana shrugged nonchalantly, trying to hold in a giggle, as Yuri gasped, glaring at her best friend.
"Do you know what Ingrid Bergman, William Shakespeare, and Betty Friedan have in common?" Yuri smiled at her, and she furrowed their eyebrows.
"Uhh, they were all... lame old people?"
Yur rolled her eyes and faked a smile. "They all died on their birthday."
"Whoops." Hana grinned nervously, and Yuri nodded with a smile on her face before the two of them started chuckling together.
"Oh, hey, look! It's almost twelve! Three minutes to go!" Hana exclaimed, pointing at Yuri's bedside clock. The two girls cheered and awaited the clock to hit twelve.
Twelve o'clock on the dot, they stood up and clapped together, Yuri hugging Hana close.
"Oh my, happy birthday, Haneul! I love you, bub." Yuri faked a tear as she ruffled Hana's hair, receiving a pout from her.
"Hey, my hair, stupid! Thanks, love. I love you, too, Yuri! Oof, you're the first one to wish me this year, yay!" They hugged again, and Yuri smacked her head.
"Bitch, I'm always the first one to wish you every year!"
"Hehe, nope. Jisung wished me first last year," she bit her lips, and Yuri gasped, running towards the door to confront her brother.
Right then, her room door flung open, and Jisung came stumbling inside.
"Right on time, J—" "Happy birthday, Hana!! When are we cutting the cake?" Jisung sprung forward and squeezed Hana in his arms as Yuri crossed her arms with a pout.
"You're always thinking about eating, like calm down, Jisung." Hana laughed and pulled Yuri into the group hug.
"Eww, I'm not hugging this stinky monster!"
"You're the stinky monster, you stinky monster!"
"Nuh-uh. You stink every day of sweat, and it's disgusting! Why do boys sweat so much?"
"Well, I don't see you complaining when you stare at Heeseung hyung playing basketball!"
Yuri gasped and lunged at him, the two of them flopping onto the bed.
"That's different, you stinky little bitch!"
"Pfft, anyway. I wished Hana better."
"Better? What is that supposed to mean? Either way, I wished her first!"
