The time is now come. At the base of the RDA, Falco gave the last orders and all the army is preparing to attack the hole of souls. The military took their weapons and equipped with oxygen masks and boarded gunships in the order and discipline. Since the laboratory window, Grace Augustine and the other members of the avatar program observes this with dismay, and Grace sighed, hoping that the Na'vi have had time to prepare. AMP suits are boarded the Dragon C21, and Falco also boarded the flying fortress. He wants to order the attack himself, and see the defeat of the Na'vi with his own eyes. This time, the commandant is determined to finish what he started, for ever. The armada of the RDA took off from the base and starts to fly towards the mountains, where is located the hole of souls.
Meanwhile, the Na'vi have prepared their defenses and troops around the fortress. Archers are on the top of the defensive walls. Most warriors are hid in the trees of the jungle, but know what they have to do. For their part, Mathias and Neytiri are at the top of a mountain, on the backs of their flying mounts, and wait with an army of Ikrans.
For the battle, Mathias and Neytiri have war paint on their faces. The young queen Na'vi is a little nervous, but she's ready to fight for his people and his world. Mathias turned to her and smiled.
(Mathias): "This time we are at the edge. No way to back down now."
(Neytiri): "We will never back down. I'd rather to die with honor than to flee with cowardice."
Mathias smiled again and agrees with her, he thinks the same. Before the battle begins, Neytiri approaches and kisses Mathias lovingly, like for that this kiss brings them good luck in the fight.
(Neytiri): "For us, for Pandora, for our people....."
(Mathias): "And for your sister."
Neytiri smiled back and gently nods. The couple feels the spirit of Sylwanin near them, as if to protect them during the battle. Suddenly, a Na'vi horn is heard and resonates in the air. This is the alarm signal. Indeed, Mathias and Neytiri look at down up and see the armada of the RDA that appears from behind a low mountain, and that goes towards them. Several helicopters and the Dragon C21 have landed on the floor of the jungle, and make land their troops on the ground, and the AMP suits. While the ground troops begin to move in the jungle, the Dragon C21 and the helicopter gunships are fly again into the sky.
The RDA has not noticed the Na'vi for now. Their radars are surely confused by the energy vortex of these mountains. Mathias takes a deep breath and looks up at the rock formations located above the armada of gunships. The young avatar had foreseen everything and knows the methods of attack of the RDA. He knew they would send a maximum of aerial vehicles. Mathias turns to a Na'vi archer and beckoned him.
(Mathias): "Trigger the first trap."
The archer obeyed and shoots a flaming arrow into the sky, the highest possible. The arrow flew and exploded in the sky.
Since the rock platforms, the Na'vi have seen the signal in the air and begins to trigger the first trap. On the rock platforms, the Na'vi have brought with them creatures called Titanotheres, huge reptilian animals with the body of a rhinoceros and a hammerhead shark head. The Titanotheres are known to be very powerful creatures and even the Thanator dare not attack the adults of this species.
The Na'vis give the signal and the Titanotheres begin to grow huge rocks from the top of the rock platforms, and the RDA did realize anything. Then, the first rocks start falling on the helicopters, as a meteor shower. Falco realizes this and is surprised to being falling into the trap. A helicopter was hit by a rock, and the vehicle crashed against a mountain and exploded, killing all humans on board. Another helicopter was hit by several rocks and also explodes. Several other helicopters were hit by rain of rocks and have lost the control, the drivers are trying to regain control of their gunships, but with great difficulty. The Na'vi aerial forces should take advantage of this. Mathias raises his fist and turns to Neytiri and the Na'vi with a determined look.
