Geoff's Pov

I was woken up the next day and told to eat. So I walk to the cafeteria and I see that Steve and Johnathon are all already there and eating. I get my tray and sit by them and start eating as well.

Steve says," Big day. Good luck."

I say," Yea, I am nervous, but I know that Grace will be there, so I will be fine. I just hope that I can get out of here to be with her more. I mean, I will miss the 2 of you, but I just can't be in here. Not when she is pregnant. Her calling every day doesn't really help me help her. She says that she is fine but I worry about the money. She doesn't get much from the job, and then she is in school. Before, she really didn't need that much since it was just her, but now the baby is coming, and kids need a lot. Grace hasn't worked in a month, so she hasn't gotten any money for anything. And the last time that I was at her house there wasn't much and I am just really worried."

Steve says," Okay. Geoff, listen, if you hyperventilate now, then you won't be able to deal with the hearing, which means they will think that you are suspicious. Which means you meant to beat up that guy, which means you won't be able to get out when you want to. So calm down. I know that you are worried about Grace but I know that she will be fine. I mean, she rose from the dead, fully healed. So she will be able to handle a baby and little money and food. The baby won't be due for a long time."

I say," Okay. Well I have to go so goodbye. Wish me luck."

Steve says," Good luck, man. I will miss you. Goodbye."

Jonathon says," Good luck. And when you get out, make sure that you tell her that you will always be there for her. Goodbye."

I get up and leave with Sarah helping me slightly. We get on the bus and drive to the courtroom. We walk in, and I see Grace sitting there. She looked amazing in her outfit. But knowing that Kathy was there, I forced myself to look at her. And when I looked back at Grace, her head was down, and I could tell that she was upset. But the trial started, and Grace was called up first. Finally, a reason to stare at her. She was so nervous but she was amazing. Then, the guy started to question her statement, trying to get her to change it. But Grace kept her statement the same. Which made the guy mad. He ran up to her and started to punch her. There were no guards there to stop him, so being deeply in love with my pregnant girlfriend, I jumped up and pulled him off of her. I wanted to hurt him so much, but I couldn't. So I held onto him until a guard finally came and took him away.

I went and checked on Grace to see if she and the baby were okay. She said that her jaw hurt, and I wanted to kiss it several times to make it feel better, but Kathy was watching, so I couldn't. I stayed there as long as I could before Sarah took me back to the holding cells.

Once I sat down in one, I asked," Sarah, will Grace be okay? I am really worried about her, especially with the baby."

Sarah says," Don't worry, she will be fine. Think of what Steve said earlier. She has been through hell, yet she is still standing."

I say," Yea, but anything can happen, and she could lose the baby. I want the baby. Even though it isn't mine, I still want him. He is Grace's baby, and I know that he will be amazing. I want Grace's kids."

Sarah says," I know you do, but she won't like how clingy you are being right now. And even if Grace is healthy, she can lose the baby. So you worrying about her getting hurt isn't going to help as much as just being there for her. This is her first kid, and she will be on edge because she will want to be perfect. You need to be calm and help her be the best that she can be. And if you are preventing her from doing things, then she won't care about anything else. She will believe that since she can't do those things that she can't raise a kid right."
