Geoff's Pov
I asked if Grace was okay since she seemed to be upset and hugged her as she told me that her and Jeff were talking about her going back home tomorrow. I understood and tried to help Jeff out by telling him that Tony and I would take care of her. Jeff shows signs of understanding, but the level of love he has for Grace is enough to make it hurt when faced with Grace leaving. I mean, we all hate the fact that Grace can't be with us 24 7. Grace cups Jeff's face and starts talking about feelings and how she felt about him. Which helped like a lot. We got in Grace's truck and decided where we were going. Grace suggested a place called Stage 2, which I don't think I have heard about, but if Grace says that it is worth going, then I will go with her.
A little while later, we get there, and Grace practically sprints for the door while Jeff and I walk across the street calmly. Grace waits for us when she gets to the door, and I hold the door for her and Jeff. Grace heads to an upstairs part of the building, and I look around with her and notice all of the nice things that they have. I just wonder if this could be like a thrift store because all name brand things are super cheap. Like Nike stuff usually like $80, but here it is like $2-3. I hear someone at the stairs, and I see Grace heading down, so I make my way down as well.
We look around a little longer before Grace finishes. I feel bad for Grace because she is getting household essentials and other important things used. Grace needs name brand things that are new, but she goes here instead. She could have said like Walmart or someplace, and I would have paid for her to get new products. Jeff pays and grabs the bags, and Grace says that she could have gotten them herself. Jeff asks what type of man he would be if he didn't, and Grace says an overly eager gentleman, which I didn't quite understand, but she still was funny about it, so I laughed at it. We leave, and Jeff suggests getting something to eat, so we, well, Grace, decided to go to Subway, so we drove there and got out. Grace actually stays with us while we walk inside this time.
I noticed that Grace was starting to panic, and I got really worried, so I asked if everything was okay. She said that a kid that bullied her was working, and Jeff offered to order our food for us so that Grace didn't have to see him face to face and I could stay with her. We give our orders, and Grace finds a seat. I began to comfort her, and she said that she didn't bring her inhaler, but I showed it to her, saying that I remembered it for her. My baby will not die to an asthma attack. Not on my watch. I kiss Grace, and Jeff walks up with our food, explaining that he couldn't carry food and drinks without spilling, so I got him to let me get the drinks. I could feel Grace watching me as I got the drinks, but I didn't care.
And if she wanted to look at my butt then she could look at my butt. It is all hers, and she can do whatever she wants with it. I carry the drinks slowly back, and we start eating, but then the guy that Grace pointed out was walking right towards us. He seemed nice, but he made it seem like Grace was a thing to own and wanted to know why she left him. Like she never wanted to be with the guy in the first place. Grace managed to keep her voice level and told him that it was none of his business where she went and why. He calls her sweetie and suggests going to other places so that he can show her how much he missed her
Can this guy get any worse? But at last I am proven wrong once again by the fact that he told her that she was to give him a lot of babies and that in that area she belongs to him. He seriously needs to get his head checked out because that isn't right. Jeff and I get up blocking the way to Grace because my princess does not need that kind of language thrown at her. Well, I should say my queen because she truly is a queen and should be treated like one. I tell the guy to leave Grace alone, and he pretends to be scared but says that I had spaghetti arms and that he could take me. I told him that he should go buy a mannequin because they won't talk back and the kid goes to hit me.
