Well that happened

Geoff's Pov

I wake up in the morning feeling amazing. I looked at Grace and saw how beautiful she looked with the sun just peeping in a little bit and falling over her face. The light allowed me to see everything in detail, from the freckles to the small acne scars. But all of that made her beautiful, and I wanted nothing to change. Well, except for our relationship status. I knew I wanted to be more than boyfriend girlfriend. I slowly get up and change before checking on Will. I saw that Tony was in there with him. What a perfect couple. I go to the kitchen and make coffee, and once the coffee was done, I go sit on the back porch. It was just so peaceful here. And it was just gorgeous with all of the trees and  how the sun rose over them. I don't know who picked this place, but they picked a perfect place for a perfect girl. I hear a noise coming from inside, so I go to check on it, and I see that Tony and Will woke up. Will hugs me, and I could feel him crying.

I say," Hey bud, everything will be alright."

Will says," I want mommy."

I say," I know, bud, but you can't see her right now. But as long as you don't wake her up, you can go cuddle with Grace."

Will says," Will that help me feel better?"

I say," You can try it."

Will says," Okay, but can you go with me?"

I say," Yea."

We walk back into Grace's room, and Will quietly gets into bed with Grace. I watch as Grace pulls Will in almost as if she knew that he was there. I wait for a little bit before I leave. I get out to the living room and see that the other Jeff was awake as well. 

He says," Morning Geoff."

I say," Morning. Did everyone sleep well?"

Tony and Jeff say," Yea."

Tony says," What will we have for breakfast that Grace will want?"

I say," Sausage Patties?"

Tony says," Does she have any sausage patties?"

I say," We can go get some," 

Tony says," Okay. I will go pick some up."

Everyone nods, and Tony leaves. Jeff and I look at each other like we didn't know what to do. And we really didn't. I go back outside, and Jeff follows me. There, we sat in quietness as we waited for Tony to get back. Not long after we sit down, Will comes back out and sits on my lap.

I say," Do you feel better, Will?"

Will says," I do."

I say," Good."

Tony comes back, and I start to make the sausage patties. I heard movement in the living room, and before I knew it, Grace was standing in the kitchen with all of us standing there. I asked if she wanted some sausage patties, and she deflected the question by asking when I got there. I told her that I got there last night but I wasn't looking for that answer. Grace hugs me and says that she would eat later and wants to cuddle with me instead. Why did she have to be so damn cute. Like I totally wanted to go back into her room and cuddle with her because she asked for it. But I couldn't because Grace needed to eat. And I told her that she needed to eat. Grace gave in and asked how long it would take, and I told her that it wouldn't be that long. Then Jeff says that Pat wanted us there before the service, so Grace said that she was on her way. I quickly turned the oven off and put the patties in the fridge before walking outside with everyone else. 

We get in the car and drive to Illinois. The drive was quite boring, and I can only believe that it was because no one wanted to talk. But we got there, and who I assume to be Pat greeted us. I asked where a gas station was, and she asked what Grace would want to eat. Grace said cereal, and then Pat asked everyone else what they wanted. We all said cereal, so Pat got out the cereal, and we talked. Then we went to the service and then the gun salute started. I noticed Grace leaving, so I followed her. Once she stopped, I asked if she was okay and if she needed to go back. She said that she wasn't okay and that she didn't want to go back. I didn't even know that Tony was there until he asked about why Grace got upset over the guns because her and Jeff went hunting yesterday.
