Eunji looked up. "No we're still open."

The guy stared at her face. I swore I've seen her before.

"Sir?"

"Oh- uhm right. Sorry for coming so late but my friend really needed his americano and I lost to Rock Paper Scissors so here I am." He laughed.

"May I ask what your order is?" She said.

"Yes. Can I get an iced americano with 4 extra espresso shots?" He said. "Wait no, make that 8." He nodded.

She widened her eyes. Who in the world would want to drink that at night? No. Who would even WANT to drink this.

"A-anything else..."

"Uhm...this might be weird but have we met before?" He asked her.

"No? I don't think so...?"

Is he one of dads friends?..

"Hmm ok." He said before grabbing his wallet and giving her the money. "Here you go."

Mark didn't realize earlier, but when he looked at her face again more closely, he saw the bandages.

"What happen?" He pointed to her cheek.

"Nothing really. Just fell down some stairs."

Mark widen his eyes. "That's not nothing- Are you okay?"

She nodded. "I'm fine. I'm use to the hi-" she stopped herself from accidentally telling him.

"I'm use to falling down the stairs..." she said.

"That's not good...you gotta take better care of yourself. What if you broke a bone?"

She looked at him. "It's fine."

She then took the money, put it in the cash register, gave him his change and went to go make the iced americano.

A minute or 2 passed before she gave him the drink.

"Thank you..." he trailed off and looked for her name tag.

Eunji.

"Eunji. Thank you. And make sure to be careful around those stairs you keep falling down."he said with a smiled before walking towards the door but slowed down after he said her name again.

Eunji? Park Eunji?

He turned back around to look at her. She wasn't looking at him though, she was busy on her phone.

As mark was watching her he realized that it was the Park Eunji he knew as a kid. He was gonna call her name but his phone rang.

"Mwo."

"Hyung, hurry up with my americano. I need to be able to stay up so I can beat Jisung in this game."

Mark rolled his eyes. "Ne."

Mark looked at the girl one last time before exiting the café.

I guess I'll just have to talk to her next time.

He sighed.

~~~
"Here Jaemin." Mark said as he gave him his drink.
"Thanks hyung." He grabbed the cup.
Mark nodded before heading to the couch.
"Yo, marker. Why you look so gloomy." Haechan said with a tilted head.
"Because I think I saw my childhood friend but I didn't get the chance to confirm it even thought I'm 100% sure it's her." Mark sighed as he plopped onto the sofa.
"It's a her?" Haechan asked.
Mark nodded his head.
"Do you- Nono. Did you like this her?" Haechan said.
Mark looked at him. "Of course I liked her back then. We were 10 Haechan." Mark rolled his eyes.
"Then what about now?"
Mark shook his head. "10 years has passed and I don't even know her that well anymore. Why would I like her."
"I don't know. Feeling can come back ya know." Haechan nodded his head. "And really fast."
Mark glared at Haechan. " Haechan... just go to sleep." Mark sighed.
Haechan laughed before hoping to his room which he shared with Renjun.
~~~

Eunji was done with her shift and was heading back home.

I wonder if dad is awake...no, he's probably sleeping from drinking to much.

Eunji sighed as she walked home. She took her time because she really didn't wanna go back to that house hold. She just wanted to stay under the night sky.

As she made it to her house and entered it, she saw her dad sleeping on the couch.

Not surprised.

She walked up stairs to her room and changed into her pajamas.

Eunji looked at her face and saw the bandages on it.

Oh wow...this is a pretty sight isn't it? Scars on your face...?

She moved passed her mirror and headed straight to bed.

Eunji put her phone on her night stand, turned off her lamp and went to sleep.
