I would just like to take this opportunity to say that I started writing this book almost 3 years ago and that my writing style has evolved since I started this. Therefore, the begining chapters will have a different writing style to the rest of the others. Hopefully, I will manage to get around to re-working these chapters in the future. But in the meantime, here are something to keep in mind whilst reading.
ONE
Chapter 3 (originally known as "the choosing ceremony") has elements that are NOT my own work. This belongs to Veronica Roth herself (author of The Divergent Series) and her book "Four". To avoid Copyright, I will eventually be reworking this chapter so that it doesn't include her work and just my own.
TWO
As it has been a while since I have updated this book you may find that some aspects do not add up to previous chapters. I would like to ask that if you could comment or even message me this, I would be grateful. But, if you don't, it should be updated along with the re-works.
THREE
From Chapter 16 onwards, there will be songs for each chapter. Each song will placed at the beginning of each chapter so that they are easily visible. I will eventually release a Spotify playlist containing all of these songs together upon finishing this book.

There will occassionally be themes in this book that some readers might find triggering and distressing. Whilst I will try my best to identify these (by placing a TW at the beginning of the chapter) in each chapter, I advise you to keep this in mind as you are reading.

I am hoping that this book will become a part of a small series eventually. This could mean changing the name of this book. So please keep that and everything I mentioned previously in mind when reading.
