"𝐂'𝐌𝐎𝐍! If you don't hurry your slow ass up we're gonna miss it," I excitedly shouted behind me as I climbed up the trail.

"I'm literally the one that woke up five minutes ago, shut the hell up," Rintarou grumbled as he lazily trailed a few ways behind me.

After finally nearing the end of the trail that led to where we wanted to go, I caught a glimpse of what I've been waiting for. "Holy shit," the words fell out of my mouth without even realizing.

"What—" Rintarou asked, walking up next to me before glancing at what my eyes were glued to, doing a double-take. "Holy shit,"

We were standing right at the top of a hill, the ledge of it not too far in front of us. Beyond the edge of the hill, the view of our hometown was clear, almost no lights being on and rarely scattering the streets. Compared to the sky right above the horizon, it was nothing special. Rhinestone stars covered almost every inch of the indigo blue sky, glittering and lighting up the heavens like nothing I've ever seen before. The night was incredibly clear, no cloud even daring to come out, leaving the full view of the Moon to only be seen by our two pairs of eyes. My own eyes widened at the sight and caused my breath to hitch. The moon was full, its size so large and seemingly so close that it might as well have been at arms reach. With the naked eye, you could make out the craters on the immense sandy yellow floating rock, some smaller than the others. I could even identify some of the specific landmarks on it, the sea of tranquility being one of them. It was ethereal. The both of us stood there with our mouths agape, our minds trying to process how such a view was even possible to manifest.

"I'm so fucking good. I just knew this was gonna be the best place to see it," I boasted after I shot out from my trance, puffing my chest out a bit and placing my hands on my hips proudly. Turns out that when I was younger I used to visit this little place by myself, usually to clear my head and watch the sunset along with some other unexpected visits, but never at a time during the night like this. I just knew the view was perfect for the stargazing we were gonna do tonight.

"How'd you even remember this place?" The brunette asked, tilting his head at me but never taking his sage eyes off the moon.

"I have a good memory, don't underestimate it," I responded with a grin, getting closer to the ledge of the hill and placing down what I was carrying.

Rintarou walked up behind me as I kneeled down to start setting up what I had brought. He started placing the blanket he was carrying on the soft grass in front of what I was doing. "Ok then smartass, let's test it. Do you remember... how you came crying up here after—"

"After I had gotten a bad grade in that stupid math test and then you found me? Yes, I do, actually," I answered while raising a brow. It was a really stupid thing to cry over, but 6-year-old me was a piss baby too so what can I do? Stupid ass double-digit addition. In the end, though, it was worth it, considering how he helped me study afterward. Rintarou let out a light chuckle, reminiscing about the ancient memory.
