Chapter 7: Didn't Go as Planned

— "Who are we staring at?" — Emma asked appearing with Lindsey.

— "Tom's ex..." — everyone responded except Liv.

— "That gorgeous girl is his ex?" — Lindsey asked, for which Emma and Priyanka hit her softly with their elbows. — "I mean, that average lady... Interesting..." — she concluded.

— "Why did they break up?" — Liv finally spoke again.

— "That was more than five years ago. But I guess distance or something." — Harrison answered and they all reacted with the same face gesture as before.

— "Distance? Thanks, Haz. Nothing I should worry about, right?" — Olivia pointed out and sat down almost hyperventilating.

— "Girl, get yourself together because someone is coming." — Priyanka advised her.

She stood up again to find Tom and the intriguing late guest in front of them.

— "Guys, look who was in the city." — he announced.

— "Harrison and Tuwaine, so nice to see you again." — she expressed happily and hugged them.

— "Yeah, it's been long." — both replied.

— "And you remember my brothers, right?" — Tom asked her.

— "Yes, but they are so grown up. How time flies, it's incredible." — the girl on Tom's side responded.

— "I wanna introduce you to my friends: Emma, Lindsey and Priyanka. And this is my girlfriend, Olivia. Ladies, this is Sarah." — he introduced them as she stretched hands with every mentioned person.

— "And what are you doing in London?" — Pri asked with curiosity.

— "I had a photoshoot here because I'm a model now. And a friend invited me to this party, so I couldn't refuse." — Sarah explained.

— "A model? That's so interesting." — Liv mumbled and Pri had to hold her laughter.

— "So Tom, I was thinking maybe we could catch up, you know." — she suggested.

— "Yeah, sure. Have a seat." — he agreed kindly.

— "I think I'm gonna look for Chris and Liam." — Lindsey excused herself.

— "I'll help you find them." — Emma mentioned and left with her.

Everyone was trying to come up with excuses to leave that very awkward situation.

— "I hear sushi rolls calling me." — Paddy said before walking away.

— "And I'll make sure he doesn't go crazy on the dessert table." — Harry commented and followed his brother.

— "I need to call my girlfriend because she just went on a trip." — Sam shared and disappeared.

— "Haz and I have been waiting to play a game, so we're gonna do that now." — Tuwaine noted and both almost ran off.

— "Don't leave me, please." — Liv whispered to Pri, who laughed and did the opposite.

— "I'm gonna look for my boyfriend." — she informed gaining an angry stare from her bestie.

— "Oh, Nick Jonas, right? Can I meet him? He's one of my favorite singers." — Sarah admitted.

— "Sure, once I find him." — Pri responded and left quickly.

"Sometimes I feel like I have the worst friends ever." — Olivia thought pouting worried about how that conversation was gonna be like.

Sarah and Tom began talking and Olivia just pretended to pay attention. While Priyanka was looking for Nick, she slipped and someone grabbed her arm avoiding her from falling.
