Chapter 18: As Long As...

(Wednesday, March 4)

— "I missed these nuggets." — Priyanka commented while having lunch at Chick-fil-A with her besties.

— "Seriously? That's what you're gonna say?" — Olivia complained.

— "We have to talk about it, Pri." — Emma agreed.

— "There's nothing else to say." — she clarified.

— "Girl, why did you refuse a record deal?" — Lindsey asked.

— "Not this again... Get over it!" — Priyanka exclaimed.

— "I was already looking for a dress to the Grammys." — Liv mentioned and pouted as Pri rolled her eyes chuckling.

After finishing their meals, everyone went back to their houses to do their work.

(Saturday 14: Tracy's Sweet Sixteen Party)

Tracy's ceremony was a success. The place was a perfect combination of classy and Star Wars. The birthday girl loved it as much as her family and guests.

— "You should be so proud of yourself, girl." — Olivia affirmed.

— "Thank you. Seeing Tracy so happy makes all the work worth it." — Priyanka stated. — "Are you guys ready to play?" — she asked the girl next to her.

— "They are ready, but I'm so nervous." — Grace confessed.

— "Your rehearsals were perfect and your songs are awesome. You have nothing to worry about." — Liv cheered her up.

— "Exactly! This is your chance to put your name out there." — Pri told her.

— "We're all nervous, Grace, but we practiced a lot. And you are amazingly talented so don't worry." — Grace's boyfriend who plays guitar and sings, Austin, pointed out making her smile.

— "Thanks! And you're right. We got this!" — she responded.

— "We may go viral on YouTube!" — the bass player, Roselyn, acknowledged.

— "Let's make ourselves famous!" — Tristan, the drummer, exclaimed rubbing his hands.

— "Jimmy Fallon will so want to interview us." — Leonard, the pianist, commented.

— "I love the mindset you all have. That's the attitude." — Olivia shared.

Like Priyanka was also the host, she introduced their band called Thunderstorm. They were playing on a small stage in the event venue as Tracy and her friends were enjoying the "concert" and dancing. At the end of the party, the musicians were hyped to see their social media pages had many more followers. Also the guests at the party were giving them many compliments about their performance.

— "This is so exciting!" — Roselyn shouted.

— "We're on our way to the Grammys, guys." — Leonard mentioned with enthusiasm.

— "People really loved us there." — Austin made known.

— "Indeed they did." — Olivia added giving Priyanka the look, who gave it back.

— "Girls, I know that look. What's up?" — Grace asked thrilled and intrigued.

— "Well, there's a chance someone in the guests' list has a position around the music industry." — Priyanka began and the band was already excited. — "And maybe that someone gave me a card so you can meet with them!" — she finished and they lost it.

— "What? Are you serious?" — Grace couldn't believe it.

— "Yes! I'm serious! And don't worry, the reunion can be virtual from back home. This is your chance, guys." — Pri said.
