Chapter 15: Chaotic Holidays

— "This was a mistake. I should go." — Madison stated and turned around, but Priyanka stopped her.

— "I invited her." — she confessed.

— "You did what?" — everyone at the table, except Emma's parents who were confused, shouted.

— "She made a bad choice, but we forgave her." — Pri expressed and they all looked at Olivia.

— "Don't look at me. I didn't know she did that." — she clarified.

— "Guys, Madison is a new person now. So make her feel welcomed, please." — Priyanka demanded. — "The entrees are over there in the kitchen. Follow me so you can choose what you like." — she told their latest guest, who did as she said.

— "Priyanka, I appreciate you inviting me here. But I'm just going to ruin your family dinner." — Madison expressed.

— "They were just surprised. Give them some time and it will be fine." — Pri advised her.

While Priyanka was helping Madison serve her food, the family was talking about it.

— "What was Priyanka thinking? She literally brought the thief to the new house." — Tom complained.

— "I don't know what goes through that crazy head of hers, you know?" — Olivia continued. — "Didn't she tell you anything about this?" — she asked Nick.

— "No! I would've tried to stop her. She did say there was something about the dinner she was worry about, but I blamed it on the food." — he answered.

— "So she was keeping secrets from you? Sounds like an unhealthy relationship to me, just saying." — Michael commented and Emily slapped his arm. — "I'm kidding!" — he exclaimed.

— "Our relationship is fine. Thank you for your concern." — Nick shared.

— "Priyanka is not very emotional, but she sometimes has the most forgiving heart." — Johanna pointed out.

— "This was a quite bad time to show it though." — Tom noted.

— "I want you to know that none of you are whispering, so I heard most of it. And I want you all to stop. I trust Madison and you should trust me." — Pri said walking into the dinning room with Madison, who went to her seat staring at her plate.

— "Listen, everyone. I understand why you don't trust me. But don't get mad at Priyanka. She was just trying to help me." — she made known before focusing on her food.

The room was filled with tension and forced conversations around. After Madison finished eating, she stood up to leave the plate at the sink before coming back to eat dessert.

— "You should go with her." — Bruce suggested.

— "Don't worry. She knows the way already." — Pri assured.

— "Girl, it's just for safety." — Liv mentioned.

— "She's not going to steal anything." — she declared.

— "I understand their concern. If you prefer, I can just stay here." — Madison acknowledged.

— "No, you don't have to. I'll go with you." — Priyanka responded and left with her.

— "You Hollands have been very silent. That is not normal. What's up?" — Nick wondered a little worried.

— "I don't know. I feel out of place because I never met her and I don't know much about what happened after either. My mind is in blank right now." — Sam admitted.

— "Yeah, me too... I don't know what to think." — Paddy replied.

— "More than the robbery, I'm mostly worried about Harry right now." — Harrison confessed.
